...The Saga Continues...

Evening, May 22, 2002

Hi, fur friends. Hey, Meowmail Town was so much fun tonight that Mom let us stay until after 8!!!! We all need to thank Bobby da Bengal Booshay who is feeling much better, is getting medicine , and will make it! Also, we must thank Bobby da Bengal Booshay because he is now the proud Dadee of Scully’s kittens. Yes, there are 4 that are grey striped tigers, then there is one (isn't there always one) who is black, with some white and of course some orange. They named the strange looking one " ODDBALL." Hehehehe, we love it!!! Not only is she different looking, but the other 4 are boys and she's the only gurl!!!! Talk about an Oddball. Hey, Scully, are you sure your Mom didn't throw in a foster when you weren't looking???? Hehehehe.

Anymeow, Magellan posted a cat purrsonality test. Here is the link: <http://www.emode.com/emode/tests/cat_files.jsp>. Okay, Mom checked it, and it's virus free and accurate. We wanted Mom to make a list of what purrsonalities cats have, but she said, " WHAT???" and, in our home, that means "NO WAY IN HECK!"

So please go to Meowmail’s chat board and see what each cat is. An example is KitKat, who is Jabba The Hut, and his brother, Omar, who is Mickey Mouse. Hehehehe. It is so much fun.

If you see Magellan, give him a pat on the back for posting the test for us. Pat him real hard, because he and Dusty are our first opponents in Celebrity Cat Boxing. In fact, knock him unconscious, okay? Hehehehe. Celebrity Cat Boxing is postponed until Holly & Willow get back. Boo & Riley will be our second fight with us. Then SOWbrina (big as she is) is going to fight herself!!!! Hehehehe. There are others, but if Mom doesn't shower, we will not sit with her to watch Celebrity Boxing (with humans). So we have to say, sleep well and thank goodness the our own Bobby da Bengal Booshay is feeling a bit better.

They said Bobby isn't out of the woods yet and some cat asked, why, is he lost? This coming weekend we have an idea, let’s make our humans take the cat test on their own. Huh? Ours already did, and we kid you not. She’s Pepe Le Pew!!!!!

Goodnight.

Morning, April 8, 2002

Good morning fur friends. Tonys day report- Today is Monday, April 8th, it's
" National Bird Day". Yummy!!! We have very little puter time this morning,
our Mom is very busy today. We dropped by Meowmail Town a few minutes ago
and there is a post you HAVE to see. It titled " Mikes Kitty Of The Month
Photo" or something like that. Check it out when you can. Hey, we are
curious, The plural of cactus is cacti. Would the plural for english muffin
be engli muffi???? That's what our Mom calls them but we're not sure if
that's correct or if Mom is just an idiot! Hehehehehehe. O.K. You all have a
good day. We will try to be at MMT for lunch but we aren't sure yet. See you
this evening.

Evening, January 20, 2002

Hi, fur friends. Oh, it was a fun night at MeowMail Town. Lots of cats and laughs. Do you remember we told you how Zazu’s Mom was careful not to move the Philidelphia Eagles knick knacks while she was dusting? Well, they won their game, and now are on to another game. If they win this next game, they'll be going to the Superbowl. So, what did Zazu’s Mom do???? Hehehehehe. Zazu’s Mom got out tape to put marks where each knick knack is. That way, if they get disturbed and moved for some reason, she can put them back exactly where they were! Hahahahaha. Now we know why Zazu fell for a sane, normal cat like Lacey Whoda? This is one case where he doesn't want a wife who's like his Mom. Hehehehehe.

There's alot of new cats that came by this weekend. We have been trying to keep up, but with all the football and food, we might have missed something. There's Vannessa, Owen, Jasmine, and Toby. Owen, Toby, and Jasmine have a web page with their photos. They posted a link at MeowMail Town. Owen is an orange boy and looks just like Snookums and Troopee.

Also, guess who was at MeowMail tonight? Jade Victoria!!!! Yep, in the fur, she was there. We thought maybe she had been in jail, but Jade Vee said no, it was worse than that. Her Mom was doing a jigsaw puzzle!!! Oh, the nerve of some humans. We feel so bad for Jade that we won't even mention that there are sites on the internet that have jigsaw puzzles you can do on the ‘puter. Nope, won't mention it.

Holly & Willow left Town because their mom wanted to watch TV, but they said they have some riddles for tomorrow, and we just got done reading a joke they emailed. Thank you, bunnies!

O.K. It's late here. Tomorrow is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and it's a national holiday. We like holidays, because then we get to hang around MeowMail Town. We hope to see you all.

Sleep well, and please dream that Zazu’s Mom GETS SOME HELP!!! Zazu said, if Omar wanted to look like Sabrina, he would first have to gain another 20 pounds. Hehehehehehehee. Good Night.

Evening, December 28, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Our Mom came home from the holidays finally!!! We have alot
of catching up to do with her. We are glad to be back and have missed all
our MeowMail friends alot. The place Mom was at last night, they watch that
survivor show. Mom doesn't really even like that show, so there. That should
teach her; she belongs here with us and nowhere else. MeowMail was fun
tonight and it seems all cats are fine. Poor Wilson is so young and has so
much to learn. Let's all help him learn, okay? His first lesson should be that
hitting Joey on the nose is not the best idea. But he will learn soon. Have
a good night and sleep well. Please dream that all these holiday humans
learn what's important: all us cats. If your human went away for the holiday,
please make their lives a living heck, like we are doing right now.

Morning, November 19, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony’s day report: Today is Monday, November 19th. Today is " Thrift Day." Oh, please don't tell our Mom that. She will try to mix our expensive food with the cheap stuff!!!

Angel and Freckles’ Mom has a phone inteview today. Let’s all purr and wish her good luck. Their family could use some good news.

Hey, we read a post and have chosen our heroes for this weekend! Casper & Pumpkin knocked their human’s phone of the hook. The humans didn't find it all weekend. Can you imagine how peaceful it must have been at their home this weekend? Good work, Caspy & Pump!!! Of course, their humans were ungrateful. Humans just don't realize how hard us cats work to make their lives better. Capsy and Pump worked hard and deserve some treats and high-five paws.

Well, being human, our Mom, of course, is selfish. Now she says she has things to do and must get going. Sure, o.k., like her stuff is of any importance to us. We will go lay down. Have a good day.

Evening, November 18, 2001

Hi, fur friends. It was a nice quiet Sunday around here today. Mostly we all slept. We needed to catch up on some sleep.

KitKat posted about his dad. The dad’s surgery is over. Now KitKat’s dad is in alot of pain. They are expecting him to come home soon. Omar thinks he's been abandoned because their mom spends her days at the hospital with their dad. Once their dad gets home, Omar will see he is not aboandoned.

The holidays have begun. We know this because today Mom brought some cookies home. They weren't the usual cookies but the ones she gets for the holidays. Tomorrow, we will post the link for Penny’s photo album again, for any cat who missed it. The album is GREAT!!! One look at the first page of the album and you can see the amount of time and work that went into it.

Tonight our local football team is playing a night game. We are all going to get ready for TV time. Sleep well, fur friends, and please dream that all cats are snuggling with their humans. Humans would be lost without us. Good night.

Morning, November 18, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony’s day report: Today is Sunday, November 18th. Today is " National Bible Day.". Wow, our Mom slept 15+ hours. We woke her occasionally to make sure the body snatchers weren't taken over. We went to MeowMail Town as soon as we woke, and guess what we saw? A photo of PENNY!!!! Yep, what a nice way to wake up. Tony was there also and excited to see Penny. Frank was up too. Her Mom is taking her uncle to the airport.

Wow, what a fun morning. Today we will be around Town a lot. Mom still has a cold, but feels better now that she rested. She was going to wash all our windows this weekend, but that can wait. Did anycat get to see the meteor shower? Tony got us thinking. Her Mom saw something fall from the sky. Well, you know how your suppose to make a wish when you see a falling star? We've decided in the future, if we see a falling star, to wish that it is indeed JUST a falling star and not some kind of weapon. Hahahahahahaha. Also what makes the falling star bright is the dust is on fire. So we will also wish that fire goes out before it lands on Earth!!! Mom has to get dressed and go get newspapers. As soon as she gets back, we will be at MeowMail Town. Hope to see you there.

Evening, November 17, 2001

Hi, fur friends, Tonight, Mom has a cold. We feel bad for her but, at the same time, we thought we would get lots of ‘puter time because Mom has been in most of the day. Not so though. Right after she had a bowl of soup, Mom fell right to sleep. We missed alot of MeowMail time. Luckily, though, Frank is at MeowMail Town and will be sending a newsletter. That's good. We can read about all we missed. There is a Columbo show starting at 9, so we're gonna sit with Mom while she watches it and has a snack. We must say good night now. Sleep well, fur friends, and please dream that Angel, Freckles and their family are doing o.k. See you tomorrow.

Evening, November 16, 2001

Hekko, fur friends! All this week, our Mom zoomed all over to get everything done. That way, we can have a relaxing weekend with lots of MeowMail time. In the process of getting things done, Mom tired herself out. Last night she fell asleep watching TV (never happens). So, tonight, we're giving Mom a break and starting TV time early. We think it's o.k. because alot of humans are out getting Thanksgiving food at the supermarket. So lots of cats are left home without a ‘puter.

Shad and Sammy were around MeowMail Town and broke up, but they are going to stay friends. Trooper is wasting no time with Precious. Last word from Precious' Mom was that Troopee kissed Precious. We wonder if Precious and Troopee know they're being watched by a human???? Hehehehehehe.

Sleep well, fur friends, and purr along with us for KitKat’s Dad, and also, this weekend sort of starts the holiday season. Purr that all cats, cavies, critters, and humans stay safe. Good night. See you tomorrow.

Morning, November 16, 2001

Good morning, fur friends, Tony’s day report: Today is Friday, November 16th. Today is National Mom & Dads Day. At Tony’s house today they are having the horse vet come for the horses’ check ups. Wonder if the horses get their temperature taken? Hehehehehe.

If you didn't get our email yesterday, it's because we didn't send one. Our Mom claimed she was to busy to type for us. Today Mom is heading out AGAIN!!! We will be back early and hope to see you at the forum some time this weekend. Be good.

Evening, November 15, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We had such a busy day here today, we didn't get to go to MeowMail Town for lunch. Then, when we got there this evening, we had no dinner to offer everyone. Luckily, Mac & Guy had spaghetti for all cats & cavies to share. Holly & Willow’s Mom isn't feeling well, so they got to say hi but couldn't stay.

The most important news: Tomorrow, KitKat18’s dad is going to the hospital for surgery!!! Everyone, please purr, pray, and hope for the best for KitKat’s dad and mom. Kitkat won't be able to get on the ‘puter for awhile, but once he does, he will let us all know his dad is o.k.

Our dinner won’t be ready until 9pm, so mom’s gonna take this time to read. We will see you all tomorrow. Sleep well, and PLEASE dream that everything turns out o.k. for Mr.KitKat (the human). Good night.

Your pals,

Tommy & Kato (TanK)

P.S. There were alot of cats at MeowMail Town tonight, but we are limited for email

time.

Morning, November 12, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony’s day report: Today is Monday, November 12th. Today is "Indian Summer Festival Day." Tony says it is in the 60s where she lives. Well, if you subtract 20 degrees, that's what we have here. We do have full sun though. Right now we have the TV on and are watching about a plane crash in New York. We weren't going to send any morning email but realized no one knows anything about what caused the crash. Jade Victoria and Bobby Da Bengal Booshay’s moms are home safely. We are relieved because their trip involved lots of plane use. Welcome, J.V. and Bobby Da Bengal. All cats are waiting for the gifts you brought back. Hehehehehe.

O.K. Mom's going out soon and said we can send an evening email because she can't think right now and it affects her typing for us. Stay calm and safe.

Evening, November 11, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Oh, what a meowing good time we had today and tonight at MeowMail. Today, the Reverand retired and gave his last sermon.Again, there was a special dinner for him. When he was unhappy with his dessert, we got to see the Reverand’s "Dark Side." Now we are afraid of him. Not really afraid, though. He is 18 and will spend his final adult years watching birds and OWLS fly by.

We are not suppose to tell Dusty that Maje is afraid of a mouse, so we won't tell him. Only we wish we could tell, because we think it's funny!!!

Lots of cats were around tonight. Mom said that, because the dinner was for KitKat, he could do the dishes. There's a photo on the forum about it. But KitKat never showed up here so Mom has to do the dishes herself. That means we have to go now.

Rascy and Shad have some surprises in store for MeowMail, but mum’s the word until they get the details worked out.

Holly and Willow are spending much time purrfecting their email list. We thank them for that, because we like to get mail from them.

We also want to mention that today, the Reverand’s Retirement, Verterans Day. and 2 months since September 11th could have been a bad day around here. But, because we have MeowMail and all our MeowMail friends, it was a GREAT day. Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that The Reverand continues to be a big part of MeowMail Town. Good night.

Your pals,

Tommy & Kato (TanK)

P.S. We have lots of church supplies for sale. Inquire within. Hehehehehe. Maje: A mouse. Eeeek!!!!

Morning, November 11, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony’s day report: Today is Sunday, November 11th. Today is Rememberance Day. It's a day for all critters to remember. It's also Veterans Day. Although tomorrow is the day, most will celebrate it today.

Today is Reverand KitKat’s last sermon. He usually comes to MeowMail Town sometime after noon eastern time. His humans go to real church in the morning. Please join all MeowMail members for a farewell to Reverand Kitkat18’s sermons, but not to Reverand KitKat himself. Speaking of church, Angel’s humans have gone to church for the THIRD time this weekend!!!! My goodness. We like being altar boys, but we also like to do other things over the weekend. Angel’s humans must have a really neat church to want to be there so much! Rascy and Shad’s Mom was heading out to her church. They will be back at MeowMail Town later.

Maje’s Mom went to a teacher-parent confrence only to find that the reason for her child’s bad grade was a MESSY desk!!! Yep. All his work is on time, neat, and correct, but the teacher just can't stand his messy desk!!!! Third grade can be soooo tough! Hahahahahaha.

Well, our own Mom is headed out for a bit, but we don't understand it. She told us she has NO money. She's going to get the paper to look at the sale flyers. WHY???? If she has no money, she can't buy anything. Also, how’s she gonna get a newspaper??? They cost money!!!! If any cat can figure out humans, please clue us in, okay? We will be back when Mom gets back, which should be soon because she has no money. Hahahahahaha.

Your pals,

Tommy & Kato

Evening, November 10, 2001

Hi, fur friends. At first we thought the news we have to share tonight was sad, but we talked it over and decided it's not sad at all. Tomorrow, after his sermon, the Reverand KitKat18 is retiring. Yes, it sounds sad, but think about it. He's 18, and he has brought joy and wisdom to all MeowMail members and his own family. Eighteen years is a long time for a cat to be taking care of others. Now it's time for KitKat to take his collar off and loaf around. You know, eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping, and oh yes, don't forget, he's teaching Omar how to be a cat. AND Sabrina is still his sister. He will still come to MeowMail Town and we will still call him Reverand. He just won’t be writing sermons anymore. In fact when we told Mom about it, she was surprised an 18-year-old cat can still see. Tonight, we had a steak dinner to honor KitKat. Troopee showed up. For steak, you KNOW Troopee was there. Holly & Willow hung around and kept us great company. Frank was by tonight so we are hoping she will be writing a newsletter. O.K. It's late now, and Mom wants to read and watch TV. We will join her. Sleep well, fur friends, and please dream about your favorite thing to do.

Bella Whodas’ blood test shows she has no fatal cat disease. That means antibiotics should be able to help her get better. We think all the purring for her must have helped. So, tonight, PURR for yourselves and all your friends. Good night.

Your Pals,

Tommy & Kato

P.S. Please be sure to come by the forum tomorrow for the Reverand’s final sermon.

Morning, October 22, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony's day report: Today is Monday, October 22. It's National Nut Day !!!! Hehehehehehe. No comment!

It's also Angel & crew's human Mom's birthday!!!! We look forward to her post. Today the human baby is here, and Mom and everyone are heading to the science museum. They will be having lunch downtown so we won't be at MeowMail Town until this evening. Have a great day, and we'll see you tonight.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

(Contact the MeowMail Twins, Tommy & Kato, at twins@meowmail.com. They'd be glad to add you to their email list.)

Evening, October 21, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Today we were going to lay around and watch football with Mom and play at MeowMail Town. Then the human baby showed up! We like the baby, and he knows how to pat us just right, but we are tired now. Tomorrow, the baby is going to be here all day. Mom is going to take him to the science museum and all around town. We need to rest up tonight.

Great news from MeowMail Town. Princess Tinkerbell Churchbell has decided to take RalFy back as her boyfriend cat. They were dating before but went their separate ways. We are so glad they are back together.

Remember last night, when the Sheriff said some day he was going to make Wilson a Deputy??? Well, Mac & Guy have a great idea. Maybe they could start one of those "boot camps" for delinquent kittens! Hahahahaha. Omar reported that his sister, Sabrina, has been sleeping near him. He wants to keep it a secret, so don't tell Sabrina, or if you do spill the beans, don't say we told you. In fact, don't even say we know you!!!! Hahahahaha.

You are all such fun to know and have around to play with. We will see you all tomorrow. Sleep well, and please dream that all babyies are in good moods tomorrow. Good night.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

(Contact the MeowMail Twins, Tommy & Kato, at twins@meowmail.com. They'd be glad to add you to their email list.)

Evening, October 15, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We had a long busy day, but then tonight, we got to go to MeowMail Town and play. It was fun.

The Whodas posted Birthday poems for the Sheriff, Pixel and we think Frank, although we didn't get to see Frank's poem.  Happy birthday cats, and many more.

Queen B found her photo, and we got to post it. She is the Queen of the computer in the photo -- very regal looking.

Wilson is now the President of The Nose Growers Club. We think it all started when he said his tail was 14 inches long. We caught on after other cats pointed out that it was a lie, but at first, we believed him!!!! Silly us.

Two of the Halloween Costume photos that Frank made were posted tonight. They were the photos of the Whodas and Wilson in costume. Others will be posted at times before the acual party. If cats spill on, or dirty up, their costumes, it's up to them to have them dry cleaned before the party. We will check with Holly & Willow who are the hostesses, but we think they will agree, no dirty costumes allowed at the MeowMail Meoween party. That's our Mom's idea, so don't blame us. Mom is nuts. As we speak ,she is soaking kitchen sponges in bleach!!!! She said that's to keep them clean and fresh. Oh yeah? Well, if she wasn't so cheap, the store has clean, fresh ones ready for her to buy. Oh well, that's more toy mousies for us, we guess.

Tonight is a laid back night for us. Good night, sleep well, and dream of peace.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, October 1, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We just left MeowMail Town. We are laughing so hard, we hope
we can type.

Some news: Penny's human is returning a 'puter and having a
replacement shipped. This is going to take some time. We all miss Penny a lot,
but we know she is with us even when she isn't around to chat. She'll be away a few weeks, at the most. So hang in there, and wait for Penny & Purrcy to return with a
brand new 'puter!!!

KitKat 18 goes to the vet tomorrow for his shots. He is saving his er, um, litterbox stuff to show his humans and the vet how he feels about having to go. Good luck, KitKat. We didn't get the date, but soon Omar, KitKat's brother, will be one year old. We asked KitKat if he could look at X-rated cat photos then. KitKat said no, Omar has to be 5 for that. Poor Omar, huh?

The Sheriff showed a photo of his nephew cat,  Lil Dude. Oh, my dog! The nephew
looks just like him. Hmmmmm.  The cavies were running all over MeowMail Town
tonight and making us laugh. They were chewing on things and raising heck. Zazu
asked if they were hamsters!!!! Hahahahahaha.

Well, we were posting Whoda photos and made a mistake. We posted who we thought was Lacey, but it was a foster Whoda who is a boy. Lacey was crying because her boyfriend cat, Zazu, thought the boy cat was her. We hate to hear girl cats cry, so we posted another photo of Lacey, only this time it was a grey and white neighbor's
D-O-G. That got Lacey laughing. Whew, got out of that one. Then we left town
before we got into anymore trouble.

Earlier in the evening, Holly & Willow were issued MeowMail credit cards. Maybe Mama Mothball will be running into them at the mall some day. We had so much fun at MeowMail Town tonight, it's going to take awhile for us to stop laughing and calm down. So mom said we should start now. Good night, fur friends, sleep well, and please dream that KitKat 18 comes back to MeowMail Town tomorrow with a clean bill of health and a clean butt.

Morning, August 30, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: Today is Thursday, August 30th. It's Mind Day! When we first read that on the Online Forum, we were scared. We thought it meant mind, as in obey. Then we read Tony's post and were relieved to find it means mind, as in thinking.

We were also relieved when we read the Whodas' morning post. Their Mom's medical tests say nothing is wrong! That is GREAT news. Of course, boy cats, that means now that the Whoda Mom can stop worrying about the test, and she will most likely start keeping an extra eye on the Whoda girls. Just play it cool.

Today is nice around here. We got to go out, and Mom went hunting and brought us back a whole bunch of food and our treats. In an hour, Mom is getting her fur trimmed. She said she doesn't want to look like a rag-a-muffin when she visits other humans this weekend. Huh? She's still gonna look like a rag-a-muffin -- just one with neat hair. Humans make no sense!!!

We are going to the forum for a little bit, then we will watch Mom clean the kitchen sink. Well, that's our plan anyway. Most likely, when Mom starts cleaning the sink, we will doze off. See you at lunchtime. It should be an early lunch today. Be good.

Evening, August 29, 2001

Hi, fur friends!!! We had fun at MeowMail tonight. There were a lot of girl cat photos for the beauty contest! Zazu has lots to look at before deciding who he wants for his new girlfriend cat.

Bobby da bengal Booshay got caught flirting with Chita again. Yep, Harley looked up from his feed bowl and saw his posts. Of course, Harley went right back to eating. Hehehehehehe.

We had a great day. Mom got lots done, and so we are almost ready for the weekend luau! Only problem is, we are real tired now. We will rest up tonight and see every cat tomorrow.

Good night, fur friends, and dream that all the girl cats know they are beautiful in their own special ways. And, okay. Even boy cats should know that they are beautiful, too.

Morning, August 29, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony's day report: It's Wednesday, August 29th. It's Bird Day!!!! Sounds good to us, but no matter how fast we run up to the birds, they fly away at the last minute. Mom says it's because we are goofy!

Mac, of Mac & Guy, is six today, according to Guy. The best news is their dad is taking a trip. Since he is a computer hog, that means they will get to spend more time at MeowMail Town.

Our ISP put an automatic upgrade on our system. You know what that means? Trouble!!!

We woke Mom extra early so she can get lots done today. It's a good thing we did. She has already done laundry and now will try to figure out this upgrade which always seems to make things worse.

Waaaaaaaaa. We will be around off and on today and hope to see you at lunch.

Evening, August 28, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Tonight, we have that Hannibal movie to watch. We know it will be scary and hope Mom holds our paw while we sleep.

The MeowMail beauty contest is going well.

Today, RalFy's mom went back to work at the school, so RalFy and crew have to get use to being alone during the day again.

All the kittens are doing well. Not much to report tonight. There is a storm of the West coast of the United States, so it's a Left Koast Cats storm. The weather people named it "FLOSSIE!" Hehehehehehe. Leave it to the West Koast to come up with that name. A few cats mentioned there are ladies named Flossie in their families, and if you get them mad, they are like an ocean storm. We are going to have ice cream and get ready for the movies. Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that all cats are well and happy.

Good morning, fur friends. Tony's day report: Today is Tuesday, August 28th. It's Dream Day. We are glad it's Dream Day, because our Mom is being selfish. She hasn't let us on the 'puter for a few days, so we have only been able to dream about MeowMail Town. Do you miss us? We miss you, and we hope every cat is being good. We will try to be around for lunch today. Mom is on this mission to get everything done by 5pm Wednesday. Because she has been interfering in our MeowMail time, we woke her extra early today so she can get things done. If we don't see you for lunch, we will see you this evening. Happy Dream Day.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 25, 2001

Hi, fur friends!!!

What a GREAT day and night it was around here. PD and Smokey's Mom had a very bad day and couldn't enjoy the fun, so please keep them in your thoughts. Well, where to start& .

As you all know, today is/was Cody's 3rd birthday!!! So all cats were in that extra special MeowMail Mood. Yes, there were lots of cats dropping in to say Happy Birthday to Cody. We know you all know this, but Cody's Mom was told he wouldn't live to see his 1st birthday. Er, um, excuse us, human, but today he is 3!!!! We would never wish any harm on a human (except our Mom), but we do so hope that the human who said to put Cody to sleep did not have as great a day as we did.

Our Mom stayed up until 5am with work things, and this morning was thinking, "Oh, I'm tired, I can't do anything today," for real. Then we checked the MeowMail forum to get Tony's day report. Mom said she can't start a day without the day report! Mom then remembered about Cody's birthday and said, "hey, wait a minute." Well, needless to say, Mom got more done today than she did all week. All from the inspiration, not just from Cody, but from the humans who helped him. One of them is Doris Day. There is a foundation called "The Doris Day Animal Foundation." The link is http://www.ddal.org/. We will be posting links throughout the week for Cody's sites.

Every cat showed up to celebrate Cody's birthday. At different times, of course. Midnight came by with some photos and, well, let's just say we had to block Tommy's eyes. He is marrying Smokey in September, but as soon as he saw Midnight, he seemed to forget who he was. Well, he is "slow."

Joey Boy is moving out of his home. Yep, he has realized that Wilson the terror is there to stay. If you have any extra room, not just in your home, but in your heart, please let Joey know. He has never mentioned that he has a job, so don't think he will be paying rent.. He is a GREAT HUNTER - well, at least he was until Wilson showed up. Now he's just a, er, um, well, snap out of it, Joey!!!

Angel, Gabe, and Freckles were crying their eyes out tonight. Well, Midnight's photos were so nice that their Mom made one of them the wallpaper on their 'puter! Well, we saw them crying and asked them "How does it feel???" The wallpaper on our computer is Joey Boy swatting at Wilson, and Wilson is cowering. And on Mom's 'puter, the wallpaper is miracle Cody! And Mom's all-time favorite cat photos don't include us. One is Angel, Gabe, and Freck walking (unleashed) on a long walkway. Mom named that one "freedom."  Mom said when she looked at the photo the first time, it yelled to her: Freedom! So there. Angel, Gabe, and Freck: what goes around comes around!!!

Great news!!!! You all know Zazu. Our buddy. He is kind of a quiet type of hey, I'm there for you. Anytime a certain spotted cat picked on us, Zazu stepped right up to the plate (the Red Sox are losing, by the way). Well, anyway, seems Zazu (we call him Jazzy Zazzy because he is so cool) well, his Dad told him it's time for Zazu to maybe get a girlfriend cat!!!!! Well, we showed him photos of the available WHODA GIRLS, and he liked them, but wanted to see more. That gave us a great idea. We are going to make an album called MEOWMAIL GIRL CATS!!!! It will be available sometime this coming week. Zazu, take your time dude.

Well, this is a long email, but it's been a long day. For us on the east koast, it ends in 36 minutes. Then it will be Sunday. So WHY are the Red Sox still playing? Because they are in TEXAS!!!!

We will let Mom watch it, but we are going to (as Omar calls it) the big bed!

Sleep well, fur friends, and we ask you to dream two dreams tonight. One is that next August 25th, we will all be celebrating Cody's 4th birthday, but as Mom heard tonight, we will take it one fine day at a time. The other dream is that PD & Smokey's Mom sleeps well, and whatever made her sad today will feel less of a burden tomorrow. Good night.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. Does any cat have a remedy for the smell that seems to follow the McChew sisters around? Just curious!!!!

Morning, August 25, 2001

Good morning/afternoon, fur friends!

Tony's day report: Today is Saturday, August 25th. It's CODY'S 3rd Birthday!!!!! Oh, happy day! Most cats know Cody's story, so this is not just Cody's special day. In a way, it's a day for every cat and every cat's humans, to celebrate!

We should also be happy that Wilson's paw is o.k. Of course, you know how kittens are. Well we like a saying the Sheriff used, so we will borrow it. Kittens are dumber than a bag of hammers! Hehehehehe.

There was a storm brewing at Tony's place, so she had to get off the 'puter. But isn't she great? She's the best day reporter in the world!

Frankie was saying they were going to win the powder ball jackpot. We wonder, when they win, if they will still do the day report. Probably they will, but it will be just on the latest state-of-the-art equipment!

RalFy is off to a cat show this weekend. Good luck to RalFy and crew.

Joey has let us know that September is Spay & Neuter month! He thinks he will be bothering us by reminding us. No way. It can't be said enough.

Our Mom was a bit late getting home yesterday. While walking, she saw a few months old kitten on a sidewalk. Mom stopped and examined it and determined the kitten indeed had a home and was neutered! Won't it be a really great day when we all know the cats that are outside have homes and are just out playing! Mom claims that's why she was late, but by the smell, we could tell the kitten she encountered wanted belly rubs, and Mom gave it some.

O.K. At the forum, we posted the link for Cody's birthday page. It's a must-see, and there is a guestbook to sign. Throughout out the day (later), we will also post the link for Cody's regular page. There are some Cody photos we will be posting. Cody is a Left Koast Cat. He is in big demand and will try to get to MeowMail Town today. We got word that someone is making Cody baked chicken for his birthday. Yummy!!! Let's all hope when Cody comes by MeowMail, he brings some chicken with him. Even if he doesn't bring any, we still love him and are looking forward to seeing him.

Our Mom has some human things to do today and we will be back later. Today will be an easy day for all cats and their humans. No matter what happens, we can all think about the miracle Cody to get us through the day. See you at MeowMail Town around dinnertime!

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. Being the kind of cat he is, we know Cody will want all cats to post their own pictures for him and all to see. So if you got 'em, get them ready for tonight. We have photos of Buff & Riley & (cutie) Rissa!!!! Hehehehe.

Hey, fur friends. We have had Cody's birthday page link for a week now. We couldn't get it to work. We had Mom play with it and voila! The link above is for the page. Please remember to sign Cody's guestbook. This is soooo exciting. We wouldn't have gone to bed tonight until we got it right. On that note, we hope it works. Good night.

Evening, August 24, 2001

Hi, fur friends!!! It was sure fun at MeowMail Town tonight. Holly had to leave early, because her kitten Willow was bugging her. She said tomorrow, maybe she will have some more riddles for us. We hope so. We like her riddles.

Zazu got cooties!!! Yep, Chita gave Zazzy ear licks. Well, you remember that Chita kissed Tommy the horse's infected hoof. Zazu will be alright. He is going to bathe for hours!

Wilson got his first claw boo-boo. It was snipped a bit too low and bled some. He is o.k., but because he is white, guess it looked pretty bad. Tonight, there were lots of photos. There was John Wayne and his brother, Bart, with their paws around each other. They didn't look like they were fighting at all.

Gabriel and Freckles also had a paw picture, and it was cute. They looked sort of like us when we wrestle.

For now, we are going to rest, but at some point, we will work on our photos. We hope to have some ready for this weekend.

Guess what? It's here!!! Yep, Cody's 3rd birthday is tomorrow. Don't forget: He wasn't supposed to make it to his 1st one, because of his health. Now he will be 3. We are very excited about Cody's birthday, and hope he can come by MeowMail Town sometime tomorrow. Until then, we say good night.

Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that Cody has the best birthday ever!!!!

Morning, August 24, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: It's Friday, August 24th. Today is Peach Pie Day!!! Yummy. Friday is also Tony's favorite day of the week. It must have something to do with the weekend!

We got our Mom up early, so she can get lots done today. She wouldn't get right up for us, so Kato had to chomp down hard on her arm. Mom says it still stings. That's good. She will think about us all day. And the next time we tell her to get up, she will, quick!

The Whodas were up early also. Their Mom is going to market this morning to get fresh veggies, fruit, and fish. Hmmmmm, sounds like maybe Mrs. Whoda should make dinner for all cats, hehehehe. We owe the Whodas an apology! Yesterday, they said Isabella was going to the vet because she was sneezing. We forgot to ask how she was last night, but now we figure with their Mom going to market, she must be o.k.

A cat named Coco was at the forum. Coco is from New Zealand and has never seen snow. Well, Snowy gave the purrfect description of snow. It's the white stuff in a can that you spray on your Christmas tree!!! We found that amusing.

Hey, great news for us!!!! Mom will not be gone ALL of Labor Day weekend, only PART of it. That means we can attend the luau that RalFy and the Left Koast Catz Club are hosting. How exciting. All the girl cats will be wearing grass skirts and, from what we've seen and heard, some boy cats will be wearing them also! The sheriff will be wearing an outfit Penny made just for him. It's a tractor/traffic light combination! It's very flattering to the sheriff's silver head which sticks out the top.

Mom's heading out early today. Maybe she's going to find a peach pie for us. Hope so. See you later at MeowMail Town.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 23, 2001

Hi, fur friends. It was a great night at MeowMail Town. Now Mom wants to watch TV and have ice cream. We want in on the ice cream, so we had to say good night at MeowMail Town.

At lunch today , Troopee said he was having cookies. That reminded Mom about these chocolate chip & pecan cookies she likes. She got some.

At MeowMail Town, Chita was flirting with Bobby Da Bengal Booshay, then Harley showed up to put an end to it. We offered Harley some dinner, then he seemed to forget what Chita was up to. Hehehehehe.

Joey, the Babe, and Scooter are upset. They said their Mom is favoring Wilson, and letting Wilson lie on her and eat her food. Hmmmmm. At least they try to be civil about it. Unlike Sabrina, who wants her new little brother Omar GONE! Yep, she wants him out of her home. Because of Sabrina, Omar has to sleep in his "safe room" each night. You would think, with KitKat being a reverend, maybe he could talk with Sabby and calm her down, but it turns out she doesn't like KitKat, either!

Frankie showed some new photos tonight. It was a treat. In one, Frankie is in a chair with the slats in front of her. We mentioned that she looked like she was in jail. Frankie responded saying she is a good kitty, and why would she be in jail! Well, we are good kitties, and we end up in cat jail, sometimes.

Today, Mom put a TV in the bedroom. Sometimes, when she's out here watching TV, we go in the bedroom where it's quiet. No more. Now she's got TV all over the place. Maybe Sabrina would let us stay at her place and Omar can stay here.

O.K. On to ice cream. Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that Omar gets rid of his worms and stays healthy. We know that's what Sabrina wants. Hehehehehehe.

Morning, August 23, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony's day report: Today is Thursday, August 23rd. It's Plumbers Day! Tony said they have a handyman who lives with them. We have a maintenance man for plumbing issues. For all cats who use real plumbers, "get your wallets out." Hehehehe. Last night, Mom didn't wake us up sneezing and coughing for a change, so we all slept well. We got Mom up early today so she can get lots done. Because we got to MeowMail Town early, we got to see Joey & The Whodas. We might start getting Mom up early every day!

The Whodas' Mom spoke with some doctor friends she knows, and they put her mind at ease, and with all cats purring for her, she will be o.k.

Tony showed some great photos this morning. One was of Frankie right beside Tony. Then, a bit later, Joey was saying that Wilson was attacking him. Could it be something in the air?  Are all kittens getting braver? Hmmmmmmm.

Wonder what Omar is up to this morning. Maybe he and Sabrina will become best friends! Hahahahaha. That is if Omar is even still home. Remember, last night Sabby was trying to get rid of him.

Today, it's already muggy here, and the weather people say there will be T-storms later maybe. We plan on being at MeowMail Town at lunch time and, of course, this evening. Hope to see every cat there. Have a great day.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 22, 2001

Hi, fur friends! We had a lot of fun at MeowMail Town tonight. Now Mom wants to watch TV, so we had to leave.

In all the excitement of Angel and Freckles' birthdays, we missed Gabriel's. He was at MeowMail Town, crying tonight. He is 5 now. Happy birthday, Gabe.

Nick and Mario's Mom had a birthday today, and she got her birthday post. All cats were nice to her.

Hey, earlier, Troopee posted that his Mom called to see how Moishe and Annie are doing in their new home. They are well, and Annie's new name is Lovey! No word on a new name for Moishe yet.

PD posted a photo of something us or our Mom had never seen before: pygmy goats!!!! Yep, our Mom peeked over our shoulder and was stunned. She always thought goats were born much bigger. Then PD told every cat they were the pygmy kind of goats. They were the cutest things, about the size of an average adult cat!

Omar refuses to eat in the same room with Sabrina, and who can blame him. She was trying to get rid of him tonight. Holly and Willow offered to take him. Poor Omar finally has a real home, but Sabby wants him gone.

Chita is all upset because the Fred Stodges's show is over September 30th. The guy's retiring. Hehehehee. We feel her pain, but we thought he retired years ago!

Hey, we just got word from Turd!!! She is going to be an aunt. Devil is going to have kittens. WOW! We will hop back to MeowMail Town to read Turd's news, then we are heading to bed.

Sleep well, friends, and dream that Gabriel forgives us for missing his birthday.

Morning, August 22, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report. It's Wednesday, August 22nd. Today is Be An Angel Day! We think we read Tony's mind. We didn't wake Mom up this morning!!! How's that for being an angel?

All cats, purring for the kittens and Molly the puppy worked. Now we need to purr for the Whodas' Mom. She is waiting results of medical tests. It will be awhile before she gets them back. Not only should we all purr for her tests to come back o.k., but we should also purr that she doesn't go nuts waiting for the results! It sounds like she is doing the right thing by trying not to think about it. Just to be sure, purr real hard for her.

Cody and China's Mom also needs purrs! She is having surgery for her shoulder on August 30th. For awhile, she will be limited to using only one of her paws! That will make typing for Cody and China  difficult, so they will be missing for a bit. Cody wasn't suppose to live to age one but will be three on August 25th. We are still trying to get the URL for a special birthday page that was made for Cody. As soon as we get it, we will send it along to every cat.

Speaking of humans, what's with our MOM? When we wake her up in the morning, she gets cranky, but when we don't wake her up, she gets worried and examines us when she does get up. We wish she would make up her mind. Our fur brains get confused!

O.K. We gotta run to the forum and see how the morning cats are doing. Have a great day, and remember to act like an angel. Snowy said how about if she just tries to act like a good cat? Yeah, that'll be the day! See you soon.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 21, 2001

Hi, fur friends. How are you all? It's late, and Mom wants TV and snack. We won't argue with her.

We want to welcome Holly & Willow to our email list. We are so glad they wanted to be on it. We are also glad we got word that the puppy, Molly, is doing lots better!

A lot of cats are starting to think about getting grass skirts for the luau. Kato already has a skirt, so Mom, he can just wear the one he has.

We must let every cat know that Chita McChew's MeowMail credit card has been canceled. If she promised you any mousies or toys, well, good luck getting them.

O.K., we are heading to bed and will see all cats first thing tomorrow. Good night, sleep well, and dream that all cats stay healthy.

Hi, fur friends. We're BACK. We didn't have to destroy Mom's Nintendo. She came to her senses! When she does play, NOTHING gets done around here. Oh, we get fed and get our treats, but there is more to life than eating.

Tony's day report: Today is Tuesday, August 21st. Tony said it's Good Roads Day. Good roads are important to all cats! The cat food found in stores is delivered by truck. If the roads are bad, we might not get our food. So let's celebrate good roads day by not going anywhere!!!! Hehehe, that way, the good roads will stay good. We have to help Mom with various chores today. We will try to be around MeowMail Town for lunch. Any cat who missed us, please remember: Mom will be gone Labor Day weekend. That means, no 'puter time for us. Hope to see you at lunch or this evening.

Hi, fur friends. We are so sorry for being missing. Mom decided to play a video game. She is in the video game zone!!! That means she's not typing for us. And she doesn't come to bed until real late. Dogs, as soon as she falls asleep, we are going to try to break the Nintendo. We will be back later.

Morning, August 17, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!!! A fine morning it is. We finally got Mom up at the right time. She's happy we're happy, and all's right with the world.

Tony's day report: It's Tonys favorite day, Friday, August 17th. Today is Archeology Day. Every cat dig deep. If you have nothing to dig for, bury something valuable of the humans'. They will even help you dig.

Our city of Boston is undergoing its own Big Dig these days. Now the powers that be need more money to pay for it. What better way than to raise gas prices!!!

Mac & Guy posted very early this morning. Their post hit a nerve with us. They were up so early because their Mom woke them with her coughing. Our Mom had a cold last winter, and every time we got snuggled in, the coughing would start. We feel sorry for Mac & Guy. They said their Mom took some cough medicine. Well, if she took the good powerful stuff, she won't be bothering them for awhile!!!

Can MeowMail Town handle another Orange Boy???? Abbey's humans went and found an orange boy that is willing to live with them. They have signed papers, and "Spiff" is being neutered Tuesday. Probably soon after, Spiff will be join Abbey and family and MeowMail. Let's all purr for Spiff's tutoring to go well.

We are going to the forum now. We will be around a lot today, and this weekend, Mom owes us 'puter time! Hope to see every cat. Have a great Friday.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 16, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Our email is very late tonight. Mom went over THAT DOG'S house to put in a new TV. Then she brought the old TV back here for our bedroom. We are happy and unhappy about it. We like lying in the big bed, but we aren't sure if we want to listen to TV all night. We will decide whether we like it or not. If we don't like it, we will let Mom know, in our own special way!

We didn't get to spend much time at MeowMail Town tonight since Mom went out. When we were there, the Joey Bunch came by and posted some great photos. Wilson gets cuter and bigger every time we see him.

KitKat reported that OMAR is doing great after his tutoring surgery. He will be home Saturday.

There is a new MeowMail job. PD has applied for, and gotten, the job of MeowMail Shykick!!! Any cat who would like to know what tomorrow will bring should ask PD. The jobs don't start until the day after Labor Day. We are waiting because maybe Shykick PD can tell us tomorrow's winning lottery numbers!!! We hope so.

Well, it's late, we are heading to bed. Mom said she will make it up to us for keeping us from MeowMail Town last night and tonight. This weekend is going to be all MeowMail, all the time, for us.

Omar will be home Saturday. We were hoping Saturday night we could all celebrate the kittens being healthy, safe and adorable. How about it fur friends.

Good night, sleep well, and please dream that Mama Mothball does a column on Zazu soon.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato.

Morning, August 16, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. How did you sleep?

Tony's day report: It's Thursday, August 16th. Today is Elvis Presley Day!!! Tony kept getting disconnected and thought maybe Elvis was causing it. We reassured Tony that Elvis was seen painting houses in South Boston. Tony lives nowhere near there.

The Whodas also said it's Babe Ruth day. Thank you, Whodas. That would explain the Red Sox recent slump!

Well, today's the big day for OMAR! Yep, he will be getting his privates tutored. Let's hope Omar returns home with the same spunk he leaves with.

Hey, maybe Sabrina will like him afterwards. No, we doubt it. She doesn't sound like she likes too many things. Grouchy is a word that comes to mind when thinking about Sabrina.

Angel , Gabe, and Freckles were running late this morning because Gabe was busy checking out their new litter maid thing. Gabe gave up, though, and went to use the old box. We don't blame him. What if that mechanical thing got caught on you? OUCHEE!!!

We heard from Mac & Guy. Their uncle still needs all our purrs. We are secret agents now, but we can't tell you anything about it. It's a secret!!! Tomorrow is supposed to be hot and muggy here. Mom got us up real early. She said she wants to do tomorrow's things today. How can she? None of us knows what tomorrow will bring.

That brings to mind another MeowMail job opening. What cat would like to be the MeowMail Sykick? Apply within.

All cats have a great day and, if you see Elvis, wish him a happy day.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 15, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

Tonight, our Mom decided to clean out her desk. Big mistake!!! It's a big job, and it took us away from our MeowMail time. Mom has lots of little scraps of paper with stuff written on it. She can't throw any of it away until she reads each and every piece. That should only take about 3 weeks. But fear not. We told Mom to put all the paper into a big box. She can go through it when she has nothing to do. That means we will be at MeowMail Town tomorrow, as usual.

Tonight, we posted a photo of Joey Boy. Don't you know Chita jumped right in and was going to take the Joey doll. We posted it for Tony.

Tomorrow is a big day at the KitKat home. Omar is going in to be tutored! Yep, he is staying with KitKat and family forever. This way, he can relax and enjoy having a real home. He won't need to be worried about raising kittens!

Taz Whoda has been doing a great job keeping MeowMail Town safe. When the Sheriff gets back, we will be sure to let him know.

Anything else that happened at the forum tonight we missed because of Mom's cleaning. We will try to go there later and read the posts, but right now, Mom is going to clean out her sock drawer. We definitely want in on that action.

Sleep, well friends, and dream that Omar returns home from his surgery in good shape.

Morning, August 15, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: It's Wednesday, August 15th. Today is Relaxation Day. That's a good one. All cats, be sure to relax all day!

We got up and went to the forum. What a treat for the eyes! Penny posted a pink sun picture for Chita. There was a nice ocean wave in the picture, so we figured it was for us. Then Penny posted some big waves for us to play in. We were going to trade our motorbikes for surfboards, but Penny gave us a motorboat instead.

Angel, Gabe, and Freckles were there, and they warned us about the sharks. We are glad we have the motorboat. It will be easy to race away from the sharks.

Farther down the board, there was a picture of Tony stretching!!! We could see, er, um, let's just say Tony didn't have her back to the camera, and she's not shy! It brought back memories of Baby Girl.

Tonight, Mom said we can maybe stay up later and see if we get to see the Joey Bunch. It's hard, because we get sleepy early.

After Tony's centerfold, er, photo, Penny posted one of Purrcy STANDING UP! We kid you not. He is up on 2 paws like a human!!! Hehehehe. Our Mom saw Purrcy's photo and said, because of his coloring, he looks like he might have a little suit on. Mom said Penny should make Purrcy go out an get a job, since he is dressed for it and can appear human. Hehehehehe.

O.K. Having seen a few MeowMail friends, we can start our day now. Hope you all have a great day. We hope to see you at lunch or dinner time, for sure.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. Tony's girl area is more white than orange. Hehehehehehehehe!

Evening, August 14, 2001

Hi, fur friends!!!

There were lots of cats at MeowMail Town tonight.

We heard some things. One was that Omar is a tattle tale and told on Sabrina and got her in trouble. Sabrina had him cornered and was trying to wipe the smirk off his face. Hmmmm.

Sounds like Sabrina is a bit upset about her new baby brother. Snookums was locked in cat jail while a service man was at his home. Karma Jean was not locked up, so Snookums hired Al Furowitz to sue his Mom. He is using his MeowMail credit card to pay. If you don't have a MeowMail credit card yet, apply. We need a photo of you for the card.

Speaking of applying, Zazu has been appointed in charge of the Featured Furface calendar. All cats have their own special time to be featured furfaces. For instance, Zazu is a Halloween cat and asked to be featured on Halloween. To make sure you get your special day, you should email Zazu at littleprincesstabby@meowmail.com and let her know your day. It's first come first served, so if 2 cats have the same request, the one who let Zazzy know first will get it. So hurry up!

August 25th is a most special day! Cody the miracle kitty will be three years old. Cody wasn't suppose to live to be one, but he has lots of humans devoting time and service to him, so he has survived. It's going to be a great day. A party will be planned but no date is set yet. It will be on a date when most cats can attend and it might not be on a weekend.

All cats need to purr real hard for Boo & Riley's dog neighbor. Her name is Molly, and she is ill. Please purr that she gets better. Yeah, she's a puppy, but she must be o.k. if Boo & Riley like her.

Earlier tonight, Tony posted some photos of herself, and they were amazing. Seems Tony likes to hang off the edges of things like chairs. We don't know how she does it without falling.

Penny posted a photo of herself. She wasn't really hanging off the chair. She was on top of it, her belly was hanging way down the side of the chair. Penny says she's not fat, it's just the way she was laying! Hehehehehe. Our Mom saw the photo and said it looked like two cats were sitting there. Hehehehe.

It's been a long day around here, so we are gonna get with Mom and watch TV then head to bed early. See you all tomorrow. Good night, sleep well, and please dream that Molly the Puppy gets well.

Tommy & Kato

Morning, August 14, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: It's Tuesday, August 14th. Today is Husbands in Love Day! Tony said to celebrate husbands. We know a lot of husbands and hope they have a great day.

Soon Tommy will be Smokey's husband!!!

Hey, we shocked the Who out of the Whodas this morning. We got to MeowMail Town real early. The Whodas were surprised we were there that early. We woke Mom up on time today so she could get some laundry done. We realized we put her in the tub to wash, but her clothes smell bad, also so she still stinks!!! We want her to do laundry today.

Today, PD, Smokey, and Rudy's mom is going car shopping. Let's all hope she finds a good deal on a good car.

A new cat came to the forum last night. Her name is Mikka, and lots of cats already know her. She is a pretty thing, which we know because her picture was posted. Since we are finally up in time to see the morning cats, we want to hurry right back to the forum. Have a great day, and we will be looking for you.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 13, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Today was Tony Appurrciation Day. It was a great day, and we wish it could go on longer. Tony and family know how many cat friends they have at MeowMail and were happy when they said goodnight.

Hey, Baby Omar has a new toy. It just happens to be KitKat's tail!!! Hehehehehe. A picture was posted of Omar ready to POUNCE on Sabrina who was around the corner from him. Today, Omar was out of his Safe Room and in the general population. We think Sabrina will lighten up once she sees Omar is so cute.

Angel, Gabe and Freckles posted what has become Mom's favorite cat photo of all time. It's the 3 of them strolling outside. Our Mom calls it "Freedom."

Penny posted photos also. One was of Chita with the sneaker! Cats all commented about Chita's being small. Well, she is small, but she can tell some BIG lies!!!!

Hey, guess who came by MeowMail Town tonight? Mac & Guy. Their humans are a little better, so they got to come play for a bit. Their Dad is visiting their uncle in the hospital up here. We all need to purr hard for their Uncle and Mac & Guy's Mom and Dad.

Well, our Mom is going to lay on the couch and watch TV. Thing is, she stinks like That Dog! We are making her bathe so she doesn't stink up our couch!

Good night, fur friends, and please dream that Sabrina realizes Omar is a bundle of joy. And purr hard for all ill kitties and humans.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. No cat had to go to jail today, but tomorrow is another day *jingling keys* Hehehehehehe!

Morning, August 13, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!

Yes, we are sending our morning email before afternoon. Hehehehe. Yesterday, we were very late with it so today we made sure to get our typist (Mom) up very early.

Tony's day report: Today is Monday, August 13th. It's Left Handers Day! Tony was going to be away today, but her Mom missed them so much she came home early. Just in case Tony wasn't here, Boo & Riley had a day report also. Today is Tony Apurrciation Day. That's right. Today is Tony Day all day!

Joey and the bunch left a good morning post. Gosh, we miss them. Penny posted a great picture of Purrcy laying in a sun beam. She posted it for Chita and said maybe Purrcy would move over so Chita could have some sun. Purrcy, you keep your big fat self right where you are!!! Don't give up. That sun is for you.

RalFy posted a very important phone number. It's poison control for cats. Get a pen. The phone number is 1-888-426-4435. It's a free call from anywhere. If you ingest something, then feel a little sick, have your human call the number for advice. Don't feel silly about calling, even if it's just a question about something your cat wants but your not sure about . Thanks RalFy. We realized that Chita doesn't have a MeowMail Town job yet. The job of cleaning the Town's litterboxes is available.

Our Mom is going to the post office. She has lots to mail. We will be back at the forum for a late lunch. Hope to see you there.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 12, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

We didn't get up till noon today, but even still, today seemed long! It was rainy and dark here all day, but Frank posted a sunny day photo for cats to see. We sort of enjoyed today's weather, but tomorrow it is suppose to rain also. We will use Frank's photo tomorrow.

Want to hear something? Chita posted that she rented a video to watch tonight. Turns out Little Princess and Tiara rented the same movie as Chita. We hope they all enjoy the films. We watch cartoons and comedy on Sunday nights.

RalFy's Mom is officially a computer geek now. She fixed problems all on her own. Sure, she had a book, but those books might as well be written in Martian. They are harder to understand than the computer itself.

Mom went shopping today, and she brought home some neat stuff.

Good night, sleep well, and please dream that all cats and their humans will be and stay well.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. The Whoda Mom is going to Jamaica!!!! This should be exciting news, but we are sending them snail mail, and now they might have to wait for their Mom to get back to see it!

Morning, August 12, 2001

Oh dogs, look at the time. We slept till noon today! Can we still call this our good morning email?

Tony's day report: It's Old Time Farm Day! How cool. Tony really lives on a farm. Her Mom went away for the weekend but missed all the animals so much, she came home!!! That's our kind of human.

Mac & Guy checked in. Their humans are not only getting better, but thinking about ways to not get sick in the first place. Way to go!!!

Today is a dark, rainy New England day. We are loving it! It's been so hot lately that this fall weather is a welcome relief!!! Of course, Chita wants to ruin it by asking Penny to post a sun photo. Luckily for us, Penny is away on weekends.

Well, Mom is having her coffee, and as soon as the caffeine kicks in, she is headed out. While we have her here to type for us, we are going to check email and stuff like that. We will be at the forum off and on today, but definitely this evening. Kato has a date with Little Kitten!!! Hehehehehehe. See you in town.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 11, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We are tired!!! Yep, Mom made pizza for the MeowMail party, and now we are stuffed!

Hey, furs, we were wondering something. Tonight, Mom said we could stay at MeowMail Town until 10. She wasn't watching the clock or anything. Then Smokey showed up, and Smokey and Tommy started chatting. Soon Mom said it's almost time for bed! All cats know that Tommy is a Momma's boy. Do you think maybe Mom is getting jealous and afraid that once Tommy & Smokey are wedwinked, Tommy won't need Mom anymore?

Reverend KitKat was mad tonight. We never saw the reverend so angry. There was a human at MeowMail Town earlier, and some cats were chatting with the human. Our halos are still shining brightly. KitKat pointed out that we were the only cats who let them human know she wasn't welcome except on her birthday. It was Frank's Mom, and we think she might just be part cat, but rules are rules. If we let one human in, then other humans will want in. So please remind your humans to stay away from MeowMail Town, except for their birthdays or in case of  an emergency! KitKat was so angry, he wouldn't even let Omar sample the catnip punch. Hmmmmmmm. Omar listens to everything KitKat tells him to do which is good, but we really wanted to see Omar under the influence!!! That would have been funny.

The MeowMail Censor got on Snowy's case tonight. Unfairly so, we think, but let sleeping dogs lie!!!! The censor must be a dog. Why else would the censor try to spoil our fun????

We are tired and going to head to bed. We will see you tomorrow. Sleep well, fur friends, and please dream that Chita does not follow Snowy's pineapple recipe. It sounds bad!

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Extra: August 11, 2001

This is important. Freckles doesn't know when his birthday is, and his bro, Angel, is celebrating this weekend. Freckles will also be having his happy birthday celebration this weekend. Also, Gabriel's birthday is the 21st. Maybe we should celebrate all 3 of them tonight. What do all cats think? If you want to celebrate something special this weekend, just say so! Gotta go get the new clock now.

T&K

Morning, August 11, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!!!

Tony's day report: It's Saturday, August 11th. Today is Presidential Joke Day. Tony said she doesn't know any of the jokes, she just looks at the President's face. Hahaha. We agree. Our President does have an amusing face, sort of Monkeyish. In a cute kind of way.

We are up early today, and it's cool out. It's about time. Mom has the windows open and no A.C. We can hear and smell the birds. Now we want to go out, but Mom has to have coffee first.

Today, we are getting a new clock! Just a white clock with black numbers and hands. Simple clock for the kitchen. The one that's there now is older than dirt, and it's hard to read because it's a decorative design! Mom never liked it, but her Dad gave it to her, so she put it in the most prominent place.

We are also getting a new trash barrel, the kind with a lid. It will be real fun. It takes humans awhile to get use to new things. Our trash barrel has never had a lid, and we know, for awhile, Mom is going to throw things into the new one before she remembers to open it! Hehehehe. We like watching the human make silly mistakes.

Hey, the Sheriff is going fishing this weekend and won't be around. He gave us the jail house keys, Hehehehe. If some cat has been bugging you, or maybe you like some cat who doesn't come by town often, just let us know. We will throw them in the jail for the weekend. Hehehehehe. No poking sticks at the "prisoner" cats. We are waiting to be sure the Sheriff has left for fishing, then Chita McLiar is getting tossed in her very own cell.

Happy Birthday to Boo! Happy birthday (pick a day) to Angel. Welcome Little Princess's new sister, Tiara. And Moishe & Annie have a forever home where they can be together forever. Those are the reasons for partying this weekend. As always, no NIP for kittens. Guy cats will act like gentlemen, and we need a clean up crew. Taz Whoda will be in charge of law enforcement. We hope Taz doesn't accidentally drink some punch that has catnip juice in it! Hehehehehe.

All cats are to keep an extra eye on Omar. He has been eyeing girl cats!!! Let the games begin!

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. If you want to secretly ask us to lock a cat up, you can email us. Tee, hee, hee.

P.S.S. We have a special cell already for Wilson in case he starts bouncing off walls.

Evening, August 10, 2001

Hi, fur friends. The forum is working again. Also, if you tried to get there and got the old board, that problem is fixed now. Chita is sorry for any inconvenience she let the HICs cause.

This weekend, Tony's Mom will be away. She is leaving tomorrow, so Tony will post tomorrow's day report. We will take care of Sunday & Monday's report. We can't have cats not knowing what day it is.

Also, the Sheriff is going fishing. He has given us the jail keys to pass along to Taz Whoda. Hehehehe. Wait a minute...oh, we just had to pay the locksmith for some copy work he did. Hehehehehehe. What does every cat think? Maybe if Chita spent the weekend in the jail, she would learn to stop telling lies. Should we lock her up?

Well, we had our T-storms, and it did cool down a bit, but the muggy air is still here. That's suppose to blow out of here over night, and tomorrow is supposed to be comfortable weather. So we are going to bed early tonight so we can enjoy tomorrow outside.

The Catriots football game is on now, so we will probably fall asleep on the couch with Mom.

Every cat, whenever there is trouble, all cats purr hard and we like to think it helps. Please purr extra hard for Angel's family. They have a very sick uncle, and their family needs to know we are all thinking about them and hoping somehow things work out.

We will see you in the morning. Sleep well, friends.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 9, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Yes, it was hot today, so Mom didn't get much done at all. Now she is claiming she's tired. From what, we ask? Hanging around doing nothing. We guess that could be tiring. So she said we had to leave MeowMail Town so Mom can stare at the TV. That's o.k. We will rest up for the weekend. Yep.

Riley forgot to mention Boo's birthday. Happy birthday, Boo. Angel's birthday is sometime this month (stray) and Little Princess has a new sister TIARA. This weekend will be spent celebrating all those things!

Tony posted photos of the baby chickens. Mom said they were so cute that we weren't allowed to make gravy & potato jokes. There was a photo of Omar in one of KitKat's beds. We wondered if KitKat minded, but he said no, he has six beds!!!! Gosh, we thought we were spoiled. We only have one big bed, and at night, Mom insists on sleeping in it with us!

We are headed to the couch with Mom now. Sleep well, fur friends, and please dream that the next time Chita's mom decides to end an email account of hers, she lets cats know.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Morning, August 9, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Yes, it is still technically morning. We just made it.

Tony's day report: Thursday, August 9th. Today is Rice Pudding Day! When we read that, we got hungry. Mom loves rice pudding but has only had it twice in her whole life. It's hard to get someone to make it. Then we read more about Rice Pudding Day. Tony said her Mom stepped in something this morning that felt like rice pudding. After reading that tidbit of information, twice will remain the number of times our Mom has had rice pudding! At least for today. Thanks, Tony!

Penny is so great. Yep, there it was at MeowMail Town: A photo of a path shoveled in what looks to be about 4 feet of snow. It cooled us down just thinking about walking the path. Thank you, Penny!!!!

Mac & Guy checked in. Their humans are still ill, but not as bad. We like the way M & G told it. The humans are better enough to start complaining about being ill. Hehehehe. Their uncle is still in the hospital, and their dad might fly up to see him this weekend.

Hey, does any cat remember we asked advice for Mom? She had an appointment today but wanted to postpone it because it was supposed to be close to 100 degrees today. We thank all cats for their suggestions. This morning, Mom made a decision to postpone, but before she called, she checked her voice mail. There was a message from the business postponing the meeting!!!! This was great, and here's the reason we are late again today. After realizing not only did she not have to go but she didn't even have to call, Mom went back to bed!!!!

O.K. We are going to start trouble now, er, we mean, start our day.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 7, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

New kitten, Omar, posted a picture of himself tonight. He is cute.

Little Princess has a new sister. So far, it seems her name will be Tiara. That is a good name! Little Princess is so happy to have another cat to play with. Unlike Sabrina, who was at MeowMail Town going on about the new addition, Omar, to their home. There were threats, and Sabrina finally left telling every cat she hates them. We know she is going through a tough time, so we forgive her! her.

Mom found out football season is starting. The sheriff pointed out it already started. We know, but it doesn't really start here until the Catriots play. Friday night's game is on TV, and Mom's relatives who going to be at the game are going to wave to us. We say DORKS! but Mom is all excited. Maybe she will make pizza that night. It's been awhile. The weather certainly doesn't say football. It's hot, and we hear from other cats it seems to be hot everywhere. Mom has been using the heat as an excuse to not do some things.

Well, El Puma caught on real quick!!! He spoke the truth, and now Mom will start getting things done. Hehehehe.

Well, it's TV & sherbet time now. Good night, friends. Sleep well, and dream that, somehow, Sabrina can overcome what she feels to be a tragedy in her life.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. Abbey, be good!

Morning, August 7, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!

Tony's day report: It's Tuesday, August 7th. Today is SEA SERPENT DAY! We know one human who WON'T be celebrating Sea anything, and that's El Pumas fisherman. At least until his bruises from the weekend go away, he should stay away from the sea.

To all cats, we need to pull together and help Tony. She has been great with letting us know the day. This weekend, her Mom is going to Grandma's house. Instead of overworking Tony, would some cat want to do the day report this weekend? If so, you must contact Tony at moonray78@hotmail.com. The day report is her job, and we wouldn't know where to begin to train somecat to fill in.

Hey, you all know our Tommy isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, or the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, and all those other phrases that mean he's just plain DUMB! Well, Sammy posted a photo, and Sammy looks identical to Smokey!!! No kidding. We don't mean just a look alike, we mean an exact CLONE. Tommy is all nervous that he is going to get mixed up and marry the wrong cat. We reassured Tommy that won't happen, but if all cats could let him know that we are all keeping an eye on him.

Speaking of keeping an eye on things, the Whodas said their Mom keeps a tight leash on them when it comes to boy cats. Oh yeah? Well, already Scotty and Taz are playing pawsies under the MeowMail table! Whodas' Mom needs to understand, with 4 girls, while she is watching one or 2, the others are looking at boy cats.

Mac & Guy checked in to let every cat know they are o.k. Thank dog! When we heard the storm took a right turn back to Florida, we were worried. They had already had the storm, then it was headed to them again. They say things are almost back to normal there. Mac & Guy, there is a way your humans could visit uncle in the hospital. They have gowns, hats, and gloves just for that very thing. It maybe would be to uncomfortable for all involved, but just wanted to let you know the option is there.

Well, today is suppose to maybe get to 98 degrees! Mom said we can play in the hall today, but no outside. Tommy has grass butt this morning, so Mom doesn't want him eating more grass just yet.

Okay, everycat, Mom is going to make some bread this morning, so lunch is going to be good. Hope to see you then.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Extra, August 6, 2001

This just in! We went to MeowMail Town to see that everything is o.k. before we logged off and went to bed. We knew it would happen!!!! Yes, now that the Whoda girl cats' photos have been shown, the boy cats are at it. Razputin wants all 4 Whodas for himself! Oh, what will become of the innocent Whoda girl cats? You know how boy cats can be. Well, let's just hope the Whodas are ready to deal with this. It will be hard, because the Whodas are so pretty!!!!! Whodas, don't believe the lies you will hear from the boy cats. Sorry.

Evening, August 6, 2001

Hi, fur friends. It's been a long but nice day! Tonight was great. KitKat's
new brother, Omar, was inducted into MeowMail. Yep, he sounds like a cool cat. He's had a hard life so far, living outside and everything that goes with that. Danger, illness, hunger, and fights.  But, you know, now he lives with KitKat, Sabrina, and family. He sounds happy. He almost started to believe Chita's lies, but Zazu stepped in and put an end to that. Omar is so much at home that he did his business in the carrier on the way home from the vet! Way to go, Omar.

We colored a Whoda last night, and Isabella scolded us about it today. We were just playing with our crayons. Wait till Bella sees what we can really do. Let's just say: one doesn't need a thumb to use spray paint! Hehehehe. Joey's Mom is working till late tonight, and Tony came by but had to go.

We have an idea. How about if Wilson, Frankie, and Omar become KitKat's assistants when services resume? All cats should vote on it. We must find something for the kittens to do. Empty paws are the devil's playground. You don't want the kittens to grow up and be like Chita, do you? Tomorrow is going to be even hotter than today. Mom has plans involving more things to clean, so we should be around MeowMail Town a lot.

Hey, Whodas, Mom has a photo somewhere of the lion cut cat she knew. If she can find it, we will post it tomorrow. Thing is, the lion cut is probably cute, but this cat that had it was orange!!!! Try to imagine and don't wet yourself laughing. Sleep well, fur friends and dream that the kittens accept the assignment of the reverand's helpers.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Morning, August 6, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!

Tony's day report: Monday, August 6th. It's WIGGLE YOUR TOES DAY! That's a good one! Tony told how good kitten Frankie is at getting their Mom to wiggle her toes. Kittens would be best at it. By the time a cat grows up, it learns the foot area of a human doesn't always smell the best!!!!

The Whodas are happy, happy cats. You know the photo of Make A Whoda? The one with the white cat with no face? Well, late last night, we added a face with our crayons. We will be posting it later when all cats are around.

Speaking of later, KitKat's new brother, "OMAR," comes home today. At 7pm, he will be inducted into MeowMail and become a MeowMail Kitten. Of course, humans don't know how to have their own fun and always want in on our fun, so we will also be celebrating wedding anniversaries. KitKat's humans and Angel's humans. Today is their anniversaries. All these celebration plans are going to happen, but because this is puter land anything could happen. KitKat had been having 'puter trouble over the weekend. If he can't make it, there will be another celebration when he can.

We know Mac & Guy will not be there. A big storm is expected to hit their area today (we think). Today, it is HOT here, but we have a plan. We put the A.C going full blast and are going to help our Mom clean today.

Did you notice that our morning email is very late? Last night, Mom starting reading and kept on reading. We won't tell you what time we finally got to bed but we didn't get up until 10am. This has to STOP! We are going to hide the books from Mom at night.

Oh, don't plan on seeing much of Chita until later. We guess Chita got tired of having no friends, so she is sending out 1,000 emails to try and find some friends. Hehehehehe. That will tie up her puter all day for sure. Unless she was lying about the whole thing.

O.K. On to the cleaning portion of our lives.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 5, 2001

Hi, fur friends! How was your day? We know Mac & Guy are o.k., because they are on high ground, but that hurricane is headed to Florida again. Let's hope they are still o.k. We guess we might not see them at MeowMail Town until the storm passes.

El Pumas family is either at the fish market or gone out to eat today. The fisherman went fishing, and he caught some fish, but then bigger fish would come along and grab it off his line. Yep, the fisherman had lots of mishaps today and showed up home with bruises instead of fish. We wish him well and hope he stays on shore for awhile.

Joey Boy's family was having problems today. On Peace Day, of all days. We hope things get worked out somehow. The JB family was so distracted that Baby Girl snuck on the 'puter and posted her centerfold photo. Lucky for us, KitKat posted his quote soon after. It was about clean living. We read it twice just to be safe.

Tony was not around much today because his Mom was out carousing. She is back home with the animals now, where all humans should be.

Today was a very fun day for us!!!! The Whodas were kind enough to send photos to Snowy. All Whoda photos are now in an album, and we are having tons of fun posting them. As soon as Penny is back from the shore, we will send them to her for the MeowMail album.

Today's game was Guess the Whoda. Joey was very good at it. Zazu guessed correct also. Tony won an orange crayon. It was fun!!!! Now Mom insists on watching a cartoon called  The Slimpsons. It's like, her week will not go well if she doesn't see the show. Even though it's a repeat of a show she's seen before. Humans are strange. We, ourselves, are going to bed!

We figure the sooner we go to bed, the sooner tomorrow will get here. Tomorrow, KitKat's brother, OMAR, comes home from the vet. Please be at MeowMail Town at 7pm eastern time. We all want to welcome Omar.

Also tomorrow is KitKat's humans' -- and Angel, Gabe, and Freckles humans' -- anniversary. BYON (Bring your own nip.)

Hehehehehe.

Good night, friends. Sleep well, and dream that Chita gets her 'puter problems worked out.

Your pals,

Tommy & Kato

Morning, August 5, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: Today is Sunday, August 5th. It is PEACE DAY! Also, Tony called it Hot, Sticky, Almost Monday Day. We know it is Peace Day because Tommy woke Mom up without causing her injury.

We hope no cats mind, but we would like to also call today Whoda Day! Have you ever seen a photo of a Whoda cat? Nope, because there haven't been any. Now there are! Yep, so far we have 2 Whoda photos with more to come. We will be posting Whodas throughout the day.

Hey, does anycat have a private jet? The reason we ask is because we think every cat should fly to El Puma's house to visit for a bit. See, the fisherman who lives with Puma got new fishing gear. It's bigger than he thought, and he has gone out fishing today. El Puma expects lots of fish -- not only lots of them, but big fish. Gas up the jet, let's go!

Hey, remember how Tony's mom's vacation went?  It seemed everything went wrong for them. Well, Mac & Guy's humans are on vacation and guess what? You all know about the bad flooding where they live. Well. Mac & Guy's humans have their summer colds for the second time. They also have a relative in the hospital. The humans can't go visit him because they will spread cold germs. Maybe humans should never take vacations! Snowy said, and we agree, that she hopes all these things affecting Mac & Guy are temporary! They are on high ground, so the flooding doesn't affect their home, but it does flood roads and things, making life difficult. They will be o.k., but wanted everycat to know about things, so if they are missing, we will know why. That didn't sound right. They meant they might not be around MeowMail sometimes because of taking care of other things.

O.K. Mom is going to take us out back!!!! It's been awhile because of the rain. We are roaring to go. After that, Mom going out for a bit, then we will be back to play Who's that Whoda photo game.

Oh, if you want to play a fun game, Tony posted a picture game. Look for it. It's called "find the missing boy in the haystack!" We played it and won. We wonder what the prize is!

Tommy & Kato

Hi, fur friends.

*BURP!* Oh, excuse us. We had the best dinner ever. We were at MeowMail Town for quite awhile tonight, and it was FUN. There were a lot of cats there. And every cat was in a fun, loving mood. Snowy tried to create trouble, but we all know our beloved reverend KitKat would never try to pick up a girl cat, like Snowy accused him of doing. KitKat is going to be 18 next month, and we think his thoughts are of other things. The Sheriff himself was there, as was Deputy Taz Whoda. There was plenty of law enforcement. Then who shows up but Frank, ready to fight. The thing was, Frank didn't want to wrestle just anycat, she wanted to wrestle the Sheriff. Seems the sheriff said something about girl cats Frank didn't like! Then, when the Sheriff was afraid of Frank and said he would never fight a girl cat, Taz stepped in! Oh, dogs. Luckily, all cats were hungry and tired, or an all-out riot would have happened!

Besides, all cats have to save their energy for Monday! KitKat's brother, Omar, gets to go home Monday. It is also KitKat's humans' anniversary and Angel, Gabe & Freck's humans' anniversary . Monday promises to be a big night at MeowMail town.

The Joey Bunch came by and posted pictures. Joey had a great belly shot one, and we begged for one of Baby Girl. The photo of Baby Girl was of her back, so we could see how big her butt is. Maybe tomorrow, we will get to see Baby's front! Hehehehehe.

Whodas wrote a beautiful poem about liver! Yes, the kind you eat. Some cats don't like liver, but everycat loved the poem. Tommy also wrote a poem, but Mom said it sounds like Tommy just changed the words of a poem he had heard before. Being "slow," he thinks he wrote it. So be it!

Well, Mom had turkey and is now saying something about triptofan and she is tired. We are going to say good night now. Sleep well, friends, and dream that Nala & the Sheriff get a room.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. It looks like Kitten Frankie sleeps in that basket.

Morning, August 4, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: Today is Saturday, August 4th. It's Chocolate Chip Day. Yum! Well, we don't eat chocolate, but Mom does, and every time she has a snack, we get a snack, also. So Chocolate Chip Day is great.

See how late this morning email is? Mom slept until about 9 this morning! Mom's not mad at Tommy, but even he thinks she should be. To wake Mom up, Tommy pokes at Mom's face, resorting to biting if needed. To get to Mom's face this morning, Tommy had to jump over Mom's head. He cleared her head, but his back paws didn't. It resulted in a gash on Moms head which is no doubt going to bruise. Mom's not angry, she just knows she is going to have to explain to humans when they ask what happened. She will tell the truth, but in the past, when explaining scratches, bites, and mishaps caused by us, Mom has gotten reactions like: " I'd get rid of the cat." Mom knows those people are just ignorant, but it's hot and muggy here today, so any response like that could set Mom off, big time. For that reason, and the weather, and the fact that she's tired, Mom will spend a lot of time at home today with us! Yippee!, We must assault her more often!

Frankie the kitten posted the cutest picture on the forum. It is a must see, print, hang up!

Smokey posted a picture of her engagement present to Tommy. It's a beauty -- a red, racing type of motorcycle! Tommy is so "slow," that when he saw it, he said he wanted to stay engaged forever if it means Smokey will keep giving him beautiful gifts.

Later, Kato will have a "talk" with Tommy and explain the whole marriage thing to him. Mom's head is stinging, so she's gonna go wash. Then she has a few errands, and when she gets back, she said we can play at MeowMail Town! Last night's rain postponed the Red Sox game, so today they play twice. A sure sign Mom will be around here today. Hope to see all cats at some point.

Your pals, Tommy & Kato

P.S. Who was the cat with water balloons? We think tonight would be purrfect for them at MeowMail. Keep in mind, though, due to overwork, the sheriff is taking it easy this weekend. So let's try to keep things down to a dull roar! Also wait till you see dinner. It's a good one. All cats will enjoy it. We'll give you a hint: the bone in the thing is great for gnawing and dragging around the floor (after Mom checks it out for danger).

Evening, August 3, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We were at MeowMail earlier, then Mom had to do something (wash a pan). Then we had thunder boomers! When we got back to MeowMail town, Unka Geemo was there, but it seemed a lot of other cats had left. That's o.k., though, because Mom only let us come back to say good night.

We found out a few things today that surprised us. Joey asked the greatest question. He asked PD if Lil Boo was Boo of Boo & Riley. PD said no, Lil Boo is a good friend of theirs and is a different cat from Riley's Boo. Good question, Joey. We always thought Lil Boo was Riley's Boo when Riley wasn't around!

We also learned there in an airport in Los Angeles named after MeowMail's very own Sheriff. Yep, it's called the John Wayne International Airport. The sheriff is a busy cat, which is good, except today Nala, his wife, was at MeowMail crying her eyes out about how much she missed the sheriff! We mean she was howling, crying about how she hopes RalFy, her former boyfriend, is happy with Snowy and blah, blah, blah! Maybe it was the heat, but we never saw a girl cat who is supposed to be happily married act like that. Is there trouble in paradise? She knew he was a sheriff before she married him. DOGS!

It turns out Budder is quite a song writer and plays guitar! We wanted to be his groupies, but Mom said boy cats aren't groupies, only girl cats are. We can be his equipment managers. We will do anything, just to be around the famous!!!!

KitKat's new brother, Omar, is still at the vet's getting treatment. His humans went to visit him today. Let's all hope he will be home in time for KitKat's humans' anniversary, which is Monday.

The Sheriff mentioned his humans have an anniversary on the 16th.

Well, she did it!!! Yep, Casper & Pumpkin's Mom made her birthday post. It's on the forum for all cats to read. Happy birthday, Mrs. Casper & Pumpkin!

Our own Mom is in the state of mind of just wanting to stare at the TV. Paw and Odor will be on soon. She has probably seen this one before, but she will watch it, anyway.

Sleep well, friends, and please dream that all our friendship with Tony somehow helps make things better in his own Mom's life.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Morning, August 3, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: Friday, August 3rd. Friday is Tony's favorite day, and she said it's WATERMELON DAY! Good work, Tony. Two great things: Friday and watermelon. Tony, you are the best secretary of the day!!! We read something on the forum this morning, and our hearts go out to Casper & Pumpkin's Mom. She had a nightmare last night! She is awake now and knows it was only a dream, but we know she must still be shook up. Our own Mom has had an occasional nightmare about something bad happening to us. Even though she was awake for the day, she still couldn't stop thinking about us babies being hurt like in the dream. C & P's Mom, our Mom said for you to tell as many other humans about the bad dream as you can! It helps take the terror away. And C & P, it's up to you to do something to show your Mom you are really o.k. We would say to break something valuable belonging to your Mom, but since today is her BIRTHDAY, don't do that. Happy birthday Casper & Pumpkin's Mom. We are looking forward to your post!

In Mac & Guy's part of the world, the rain finally stopped!!! They had 15 inches of rain in 16 hours. WOW! Hey, Mac & Guy, at any time, did your humans start building an ark? We are glad you are o.k. It sounds as though it will take many, many moons for things to dry out there! Make your humans remove their shoes when they come in from outside. Lots of water often carries some germs from one place to another on the ground.

The Joey bunch is going to have an eventful day! They are going to get groomed. Their Mom has the carriers all ready. Scooter now has a reason to hide in the basement!!! Maybe we will get to see photos of the Babe after her grooming! Yippee!

Speaking of photos, we wish for the rest of the summer some cat could post one snow photo each day. We wish Penny could do it, but she has done so much for MeowMail already, we don't want to burden her.

And Bobby Da Bengal Booshay, could you post the picture of your Mom scuba diving every so often? Ocean water seems to cool lots of things off, and not everycat got to see it.

We will be around today, as it will be hot here. The thunder boomers might come late afternoon/early evening. If you don't see us then, that's why. See you at lunch, and as always, Abbey-- BE GOOD!

Hehehehehe.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 2, 2001

Hi, fur friends! We were at MeowMail Town earlier, and there were lots of cats there. It was fun. We shared our dinner. We had Mac & Cheese and hot dogs! It tasted so good, until Troopee & Moishe showed up to say they had BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, and coleslaw! We were glad we were done eating, because we never would have settled for M&C and hotdogs after hearing what they had!

Bobby Da Bengal Booshay posted a photo of his Mom scuba diving. Hehehehe. It was a classic. If you go to MeowMail's online forum and can't find it, try page 2.

Penny posted a picture of snow for us.

It was HOT here today with high humidity. Yep, we had a long day, but we still had energy to go out tonight. Mom didn't take us out. Instead, she took THAT DOG swimming! It's still hot, so Mom didn't stay out long. Too bad for the dog, but that will teach it to take our Mom away from us. It's dark now so we can't go out until tomorrow morning. We are waiting and letting Mom know she let us down by not taking us out.

Some cats have plans for MeowMail Town. Tonight, they want to dip a black cat in vanilla ice cream then every cat can help clean it off! The Whodas have offered Lacey as the black cat. It sounds like alot of fun, and we might check it out  later, but right now our eyes are drooping and ready for sleep.

We will say good night, and ask every cat to dream that Kitkat's new little brother kitten will be fine and grow up to be a reverand just like Kitkat.

Sleep well friends.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

P.S. To Snowy, our caller ID doesn't tell us who called when we are on line. That's why we didn't know you called that morning, or we surely would have called you back.

P.S.S. To Abbey, BE GOOD!  Hehehehehe.

Morning, August 2, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: It's Thursday August 2nd. Today is Ice Cream Sandwich Day! Yummy! What a great day!

Today is suppose to be wicked HOT around here. That means MOM will put on the A.C. and clean. We will be sure to "help" her. With this weather, there is sure to be some ice cream involved at some point today!

We went to MeowMail Town briefly this morning. Casper and Pumpkin posted some great pictures, which was a good thing. It helps our Mom wake up!

Tony's Mom is sad today, and Tony wants any cat with a cure for a broken heart to email them. We don't know of a cure, but hope some cat does.

Joey's Mom is still ill, but is still taking time to visit Scooter in the basement! That is nice of Ms. Joey. Ill humans rarely are in any mood to comfort us cats. Joey's Mom is a real sweetheart!

One thing that made us laugh at the forum was Penny saying she had to go get her Mom ready for work. Hahahaha. Don't humans act like doing simple things (washing, dressing, etc.) is a real chore? Penny has it right. rather than listen to humans complain about doing things, just do everything for them! Penny also posted a picture of a sunrise. That was a real treat! We showed Mom, and she said it was a most purrfect picture. We will see how Mom feels about Penny's sunrise picture when it hits 90 degrees today!!! We are going back to the forum to finish reading posts. We slept a bit late today, so seem to have missed the morning cats. We will be around today and hope to see some cats.

We will end this with what seems to be ABBEY'S favorite phrase- "BE GOOD." hehehehe.

Tommy & Kato

Evening, August 1, 2001

Hi, fur friends!!!

We had fun at MeowMail Town tonight, but now it's TV time.

Chita was picking on everycat and threatening to bite! We are sure something in her life makes her an angry cat. We feel so bad for Nala!

Tonight, we will be purring for KitKat 17's "maybe" brother and Little Princess Tabby. We hope they both will be alright. We also will purr for Joey's Mom who is ill right now.

We hope you all sleep well, and we will see you in the morning. Good night, and dream that all cats and humans are well for the weekend!

Morning, August 1, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!

Tony's day report: It's Wednesday August 1st. Today is Sports Day and National Night Out Day. Hehehehe. Moms Red Sox are on a cable channel we don't get tonight. How odd for Sports Day. National Night Out is an important night to let criminals know they are not welcome!!! We don't ever get to go out at night. Mom says she wouldn't be able to see us in the dark. We have told her we are ORANGE, and she would be able to see us. But she says NO! Daytime only, and we are lucky to get that. If you can, go to the forum and read Penny's post titled "scary story." It is indeed scary. We are sure Penny's grandma loves her & Purrcy, but nothing can replace MOM.

Our Mom has finished her coffee and is heading out now. We will be back for lunch. See you then.

Tommy & Kato

Late Evening, July 26, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

It's late, but we made Mom figure something out for us. The link we had to Cody's photo album only worked on our puter because it came thru our email. Mom figured out how every other cat can get there. Go to webshots.com. When you get there, near the top, there are things to click on. Click on "Communities." When you get there, it will say you have no favorite users. Add codyfh, enter that, and Walla, you are at Cody's album. You should bookmark it (put it in your favorites) so you can get there more easily in the future. Enjoy! We love looking at Cody the miracle kitty. Mom sent THAT D-O-G's Mom the link to Cody's album, and when Mom saw them today, it was the first thing mentioned.

T&K

P.S. You can vote and send e-cards with Cody's picture on them.

Evening, July 26, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We just came from MeowMail Town. There are a lot of cats there tonight. Mom said we have to get off the puter now so we can sit with her and watch TV.

Joey said earlier that Wilson is doing better. In fact, Joey is tired of all the special attention Wilson is getting. Don't worry, Joey, no cat will ever forget, you are the almighty hunter! Chita emailed us earlier to say she wouldn't be at MeowMail tonight. Something about playing in a cabbage patch or playing with a cabbage patch doll. We didn't really understand what she said. It doesn't matter though. It most likely was a lie.

The ASK EL PUMA column is up and working now. It emails your question to Puma, so it's different from the MeowMail board.

Penny got to spend some time at the forum tonight. That was great, we haven't spent time with her in awhile. She said Purrcy lost some weight and is now able to clean himself better. Good news all around. Get it? Around, losing weight? Oh, well.

Now that the smoke has cleared from our home we can see the TV clearly now. Gonna go watch. Good night, and sleep well, fur friends. Please dream that Chita finds whatever it is she's looking for in the cabbage patch.

Morning, July 26, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: Thursday, July 26th. It's ALL OR NOTHING DAY! Because we are cats, we will take it all. The humans can have the nothing. Today is Abbey's Mom's birthday. She knows a human gets one post at MeowMail on their birthday. She thinks her Mom will post around 8pm left Koast time. That will be 11pm here, so it got us thinking: maybe the humans should get 2 or 3 posts on their birthday, but each has to be 6 hours apart. That way, cats in all time zones will get to see it. What does every cat think about that ? Is that too many posts for a human?

Frankie the kitten posted that she is feeling fine and back to her kitten activities. The last we heard, Wilson was getting a bit better all the time. We think today is the day he gets weighed. We know every cat will be waiting to hear how Wilson is doing and how much he weighs.

Hey, fur friends, Chita was caught in a big lie this morning, and Abbey was at MeowMail town to witness it. You see, the beginning of this email? It says good morning. And our night emails say sleep well. This morning, Chita was at MeowMail Town running her mouth about how she had read our morning email!!!! She lied right to our faces when we knew very well we hadn't even sent this email. Oh dogs, Chita gets worse every day. When the ASK EL PUMA column is up and running, we have a question. Does Chita believe her own lies? We think she must, because she isn't fooling any other cat.

Have a great day, and we will see you in town.

Your pals,
Tommy & Kato

Evening, July 25, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

Our Mom just came home, and she smells like a pet store. She didn't bring us any treats or toys. She said we have enough stuff. Now we are pouting and going to go lay down so she will feel bad for us. We hope she feels bad and doesn't use this for an opportunity to relax and play video games! It sounds like Wilson is doing a bit better. He has 3 more days of medicine to go. He also must be weighed. As soon as he is weighed Joey will let everycat know how he is. Wilson got his own private litter box! Joey, Baby Girl, and Scooter didn't and they still have to go downstairs to use the one they share. Hehehehe. We heard of something we never heard of before--sunscreen for cats! Yep, Little Princess Tabby likes to lay in the sun so her Mom got sunscreen from the vet. We guess it makes sense. She puts it on her little nose to prevent sunburn. *SNICKER* Hehehehe, no we aren't laughing about the sun screen. It was er, um, something on TV!

RalFy had DUCK tonight and didn't share with anycat. Abbey and us were on bended paw begging, and all RalFy could say was he is a big boy and ate it all. Oh, ya, well maybe he wouldn't be so big if he shared his food!

COMING SOON: On the MeowMail home page. Down on the right, is going to be a column called "ASK EL PUMA." It sounds like a great idea. We didn't know about it until Abbey told us. Thanks, Abbey. Get your questions ready for Puma. If you haven't read Mama Mothball's column today, there is still time. We were laughing out loud when we read it. It's a great column. Tomorrow is suppose to be much cooler around here, that means Mom will be out more. We know she is leaving at 8am so we will get to see the morning cats. Then she should be back for lunch.

Hope to see you. Sleep well, fur friends, and please dream up some good questions for PUMA.

Dear Editor,

This email from Joey and Baby Girl cracked us up. We still laugh when we read it. Could you post it on our column? Please. We already asked Joey and Baby Girl, and they said
okay.

See ya,
T&K

Editor's Response: Okay, I will post it. Here is the email from Joey and Baby Girl.

Dear T and K,

Baby and I have decided that the most fun any cat can have is to let Mommy bring home a cute little kitten. Oh my. They run,  jump,  dance,  jiggle, pounce, fall down, race around, attack you, and the list goes on and on, and so does their energy. We would like to take this time to dig deep into our hearts and give you guys our little bundle of joy. No, no please don't thank us. Our kindness is only surpassed by our good intentions. Now we have to go to bed and sleep alone in the spare room because Mommy thinks we will eat
our new kitten, Wilson, one of these days. We will be spending more and more tme with you guys. Well, Wilson is bouncing off the walls right now, and we need to figure out a plan to cover whatever he manages to break. I love you guys and miss you. I will try and spend more time in MeowMail Town. Good night. We love you.

Joey Boy and The Babe

Morning, June 18, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. How did you sleep? We slept well after the LAB movie was over. LAB stands for long and boring.

Tony's day report. Wednesday  July, 18th. Railroad Day! We've been working on the railroad. Oops, we can't say that. We've only been up an hour!  We haven't been working on anything except our food bowls. Hehehehehe.

Okay. We have to wait until 9:30am to get a report on Frankie. That's when the vet said he would call. The plan is to get her home, and keep her isolated and calm. That sounds like a good plan. Let's all purr that things work out.

Mac & Guy had some great news. See, their Dad is a 'puter hog when he is home. They are having a new house built, and they are going to put their Dad in the new house and they will stay where they are with the puter. WHAT???? Oh, that's not true! They are all
moving into the new house and, when they do, their Mom is getting the 'puter they have now and their Dad will get a new one. That means they will be at MeowMail more. They are hoping to be in the new house before Christmas. You know what that means??? The annual Christmas party will be at Mac and Guy's new home. Yes, we will christen their home. Fur and empty nip bottles will be every where. This is exciting!

For cats who aren't getting new homes, do what we do. Every few months, Mom changes the furniture around. It's like getting a new home without the bother and expense! Today is moving day here. Mom now wants the couch by the windows and the TV where the couch is. We will try to help her but, once she really starts moving, we will sleep. Hope
to see you in Town today.

Your pals, Tommy & Kato

Evening, July 17, 2001

Hi, fur friends. It's been a long day! Word from Tony is that Frankie the kitten is back at the vets and will be staying there until she improves. This is very sad for Tony's Mom and all cats to hear. Please purr loud tonight. Get well, Frankie, we need you.

We all got to see Tommy the Horse's Hoof Boot. Cats said it's more like a clog, we think it's like a slipper. It's a pretty blue, as blue as Joeyboy's eyes! Chita has been kissing Tommy the horse's infected hoof. Harley might want to think twice before he kisses his wife, now that he knows where her cat mouth has been. Hehehehehe.

Guess who emailed us today???? Nicholas and Mario!!! We were so happy to hear from
them. Glad you are back, Nick & Mario.

Mom had a tough day today! A bank worker messed up big time! After spending hours getting things worked out, the guy told Mom, if he sees her in the neighborhood, he owes her a drink!

Yeah, sure, he might want to hope mom doesn't ever see him outside a place of business. But all is well now. There is something we don't understand, to relieve stress Mom went to the pond with THAT D-O-G. She kept throwing the ball, and the dog would go get it and bring it back. The Whodas said that was good for Mom's ego. We agree. Probably Mom was thinking well at least the bank people are not as dumb as that dog (but it's close)! Mom got the movie Traffic to watch tonight. It's suppose to be good, so we will watch it with her. Then when we go to bed we will be purring so loud for Frankie that Mom will sleep well. We hope every cat sleeps well tonight. We will see you in
the morning. Goodnight and please dream that Frankie snaps right into her
old kitten self soon.

Tommy & Kato

Morning, July 13, 2001

Good morning, fur friends!

Tony's day report: It's FRIDAY THE 13TH. Some humans believe it's a bad luck day. Well, at Tony's home they have run out of bad luck. We hope.

There is a little sad news we saw today. Penny and Purccy's Mom is at work today, but after today, she is on vacation. She will be gone for a whole week, and P&P won't be able to come to MeowMail Town. Our Mom wishes P&P's human a great vacation, but we wish it will rain and she will come home earlier so Penny and Purrcy can get back to all of us.

Wilson the kitten posted some pictures at the forum this morning. Our Mom is a bit sleepy until after her coffee, but after she saw Wilson's pictures, she perked right up! Some cat said Wilson had a lot of energy, and asked if he was into the coffee. We think Wilson IS coffee. They both have the same effect on our Mom.

Speaking of coffee, Mac and Guy said their Mom is almost out of coffee and needs to go shopping today. We live hundreds of miles away from Mac and Guy, but our Mom is also going shopping today. Hmmmmmmmmm!

O.K. Back to the date. Yesterday, someone told Mom that Friday the 13th superstitions are an American thing. The person said she was talking to someone from a different country, and their unlucky day is Tuesday the 13th. Mom wanted to look that up and read about it, but she didn't know where to begin looking. If any cat has knowledge about the 13th in other cultures, please email us what you know, or please email us the URL to a web site that would have any info about the subject. Please help us help Mom.  There's probably something in it for us!!! Hehehehehe.

Okay. On with the day. Be good and today- BLACK CATS RULE. Us oranges should step aside. It's only for today.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

Evening, July 12, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

There is a movie on at 9:00 that Mom wants to see. She told us to say our goodnight so we can help her clean the kitchen. We will say goodnight, and then we will GO TO BED! Hehehehe.

The only bad part is that we had to leave MeowMail Town. Lots going on in that crazy town!

KitKat's humans are talking about having a male cat tutored. KitKat is all upset. He thinks they mean him. He said he's not going through that again!!! We think maybe he and Sabrina are getting a new sibling. Either way, KitKat is sure to be upset! Hehehehehe.

Tony's family: Frankie got through her surgery fine and is now resting. Tony's human grandma got burns somehow. Every cat told Tony to tell her mom to take Tony's human grandma to the doctor. We think they must have gone. Let's all hope their Grandma is o.k.

Speaking of burns, the sheriff announced his mom got all the ironing done! We were shocked they even let her use an iron after the microwave incident!

We know Mac and Guy's mom is safe. There was no room for her on the plane their Dad took, so their Dad is away having dinner with friends. Their mom is ordering Chinese food. We told her to order everything!!!!

Chub, Tink, and Izzy came by also. Chita is...well, you know! Lies, lies, lies.

O.K., we gotta go to sleep, or we will have to help mom. We will magically wake up at snack time!!! Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that humans start being safer with their activities. They don't realize how hard it is for us cats to live with them and their mishaps!

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

Morning, July 12, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Good morning. Mom had to go out early today, so our email is late. Chita is wrong again, as she said it would be an afternoon email. Our clock says 11:11am.

Tony's day report: July 12th. Visitation Day! Tony found that strange. Frankie (Tony's little sister) went in to be "fixed" today. She will be home on Saturday morning. Tony isn't allowed out to go visit her at the vet's. Hmmmmm, some visitation day, huh?

Other news at Tony's house: Tommy the horse is getting a (trying not to laugh) hoof boot today! We guess it's to help him walk, and we don't mean to laugh at any animal's suffering, but we hope to dog Tony takes a picture to show us the hoof boot.

BIG news at Casper and Pumpkin's house!!!! Their humans are celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary today. WOW! Caspy and Pumpy aren't even that old, so they think the humans must have lived together before C and P adopted them. Casper said his dad might be getting his mom a vacuum cleaner as an anniversary gift. How thoughtful!!!!

Hey, last night, Penny sent us an email. She got bumped off the 'puter from MeowMail. She didn't want any cat who was there to think she left without saying goodbye. We tried to get back to MeowMail Town but also could not. We had been there for hours, so maybe our 'puter said that's enough. In any case, Penny said goodnight.

Mom is going to start getting her lunch ready, then we will be at the forum to see all cats. Hope you can come by for lunch.

Tommy and Kato

Evening, July 11, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

WOW! It was a fun time at MeowMail Town tonight. Lots of cats were there. Even Chita and Nala! They seem to have worked out their 'puter problems. The Sheriff has been having problems, and they both have the same internet server. We were glad they were there. Nala got to tell the Sheriff about her daily pooping ! How romantic!

Earlier in the day, Annie and Moishe said Troopee is cuter then we are. At first we were upset, but Mom reassured us we are cute, too. Chita also bit Annie and Moishe, so they apologized.

Turd was around tonight, which was a lot of fun. Mama Mothball's daily column was about Turd. After seeing pictures of Turd and her family, we were left laughing!

Penny and Purccy were there also.

Butterscotch looks just like Budder!!!

A special hello to Violet's brother, Ernie. He joined MeowMail today. Welcome!

The conversation going on at the forum was about how maybe some cats were related. Mom rudely said we had to get off the 'puter. That's o.k., though. We will sit on the couch with her and bother her. She'll be sorry!!!

We didn't see the Whodas and hope they are o.k.

Tomorrow, kitten Frankie is going to be "fixed!" She is nervous about it, but we know she will be fine and back to MeowMail soon.

Well, goodnight fur friends, and dream that all cats are healthy and well.

Tommy and Kato

Morning, July 10, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: Today is Tuesday, July 10. It is Ultimate TV Day. Tony and family are getting their ultimate TV this morning. They are all excited! We are excited for them. Our excitement is because they can come to MeowMail via their TV. Our Mom is excited for them, because they are getting it in time for the All Star game.

Mom is looking forward to the game so much, she said we can use the 'puter to be at MeowMail Town while the game is on. She said it's so we will leave her alone. We think it's because of the pace of the game. To keep from falling asleep during the game, Mom will try to get in on our fun.

Snowy put a post at the forum about what female felines really mean when they say things. It is a must-read for all boy cats who are dating, married, or engaged, or even thinking about it!

Casper and Pumpkin posted some pictures, and of course mom wants them to be her cats. We can't say we blame her this morning. Yes, we were bad! Mom was in a deep sleep, the kind of sleep that is most important. She was having a pleasant dream about one of her favorite places: the ocean. Our bellies growled, so we both worked on her and woke her. Mom was in a nasty mood because of our actions. She now is having her coffee, and we hope it helps!

Hey, check this out: Last night, the Sheriff was issued a credit card from the Bank of Cats. Now his wife, Nala, is saying she wants to adopt 60 kittens. Hehehehehe. Enjoy your credit card, Sheriff!

Well, mom stinks and needs a bath. Today is suppose to be sticky and hot here. Mom plans on cleaning today with the A.C. on. That means we will be around MeowMail often today.

We will be purring for Tommy the horse who is ailing and will have a V-E-T visit today, and also for the littlest Whoda kittens. Frankie and Wilson are always in our hearts, as they are mom's favorites! See you at MeowMail Town.

Evening, July 9, 2001

Hi, fur friends. We want to welcome two cats to the list. One is Little Kitten and the other is Violet. Violet was around about 5 months ago and just came back to MeowMail Town. Welcome!

Today was a boring day for us. Everything was the same as it is every day. We were so glad to get to MeowMail and see some fur friends. RalFy is now Grand Champion Alter in TICA. Dru is very close and will be one soon.

We posted Kato's credit card, and Unka Geemo liked it, so we made him one. The sheriff also posted his picture, and we will make him one. Any cat who would like one either email a picture or post a picture on the board. Copies of all cat's credit cards will be kept in a photo album, for viewing. More on that later.

We want kitten Frankie to know she is also our favorite! We like her and Wilson the same. We are tired now and going to head to the couch for TV. Chita's mom must have been real tired today. She couldn't even figure out how to tie her sneakers.

Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that Chita's mom discovers some sneakers with Velcro closures. Good night and good health to every cat.

Afternoon, July 9, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

This is a special lunchtime email. We are so happy. Rudy, Snowy, and some humans got the Maui kitty a home. The Whodas' kitten was much better this morning. We also want to welcome TIGER to our email list. Tiger told us a story about how he likes to eat paper!!! His humans try to keep paper away from him, but once he ate their TV Guide. Tiger sounds like our type of fur friend. His humans are very busy people, so Tiger doesn't get to use the 'puter much. We think Tiger might be a West Koast Cat!!!! Oh boy. Wonder if he is as wild as the rest of the Westies. Oh dogs! We will be back early today.

Morning, July 9, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

This is a very quick email. Mom is on her way out to take care of things. We stopped by the forum for a minute. Tony says today is Blonde Day. Hehehehe! The Whoda kitten had a good night sleep and is doing better today. The Maui kitten stole the heart of a woman in Maui and is probably going to stay there forever. We will try to be around at
lunchtime. If not, we will be here this evening. Hope to see you all.

Morning, July 4, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Up and at 'em! Tony's day report: It's July 4, 2001. Fire Cracker Day! Lots of cats (including us) don't like fireworks, but humans seem to enjoy them. Why don't the humans just go live in a country where there is bombing? Then we will see how thrilled they are at loud BOOMs and flashes of light!

Today, the Left Koast Catz Club is holding an all-day BBQ at the Online Forum. Cats will come and go all day. Last word from the LKCC was, whatever cat is there at the time, is responsible for the grill.

Taz and the rest of the Whodas won't be around until tonight. Taz wanted to make sure the Sheriff has the day shift for violating RalFy and Snowy's rights.

Chita and Harley plan on getting married today. Hahahahahaha. Let's see, we all know Harley: wedding or BBQ? Which will Harley choose?

Tony and Joey are having problems. Joey claims that, since Wilson the kitten came to live with him, he is unable to show his love for Tony. Tony pointed out to Joey that, when Frankie the kitten came to live with Tony, she still managed to let Joey know he is special to her.

We are so glad Tommy found Smokey. There is no pressure, and he and Smokey understand that cats sometimes get busy with non-romance type things. Like this morning, Mom took us out and Tommy found a pile of dirt. Tommy had to become one with the dirt! Hehehehe. He got dirt all over him. We know he wasn't thinking about cuddling with Smokey when he was doing the dirt thing.

We have a fireworks story to tell you, but have decided not to include it in this email. We will send a special afternoon email with the story in it.

Mom has learned how to take a picture from the Online Forum and move it into our photo album. Please post picture you have relating to the LKCC, or if you just have a picture you want in the LKCC album, post that, too, on the forum. For cats who haven't ever posted pictures on the forum before, it's easy. Some cat on the forum is sure to post instructions, if you need them. Remember, Penny has a MeowMail album, so not every cat will be in the LKCC one.

Last night, El Puma decided to show Jade his better side (the back end).
We immediately put that in the LKCC album -- just to show how those cats act!!!!!

Have a happy and SAFE Independence Day. Please tell your humans not to have catnip juice and drive. If they are driving, they should assume that everyone else on the road has had some juice. We need them to open the fridge for us, not to mention the many doors! See you at the BBQ.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

Evening, July 3, 2001

Hi, fur friends. It's snack time now, and we want some, so we had to leave MeowMail Town. There is still a lot going on there. There were a few new cats tonight. One of the cats escaped death, so her mom named her Death Goddess. The name scared a lot of cats at first, but she is real nice. She said we can call her DG or, as Penny suggest, LG for Lucky Goddess. In any case, MeowMail Town now has a goddess!

Tipsy, Peri, and Gord stopped by. We think we have met them before. Another new cat is named Pookie and has a sibling named Spot. Their last name is Hill. Cats had a lot of fun laughing at the name Pookie Hill. Pookie and Spot fit right in, though, and didn't seem to mind the jokes about the name. Pookie is 9 years old today. Does any cat know what that would be in human years??? Tomorrow, we will be around often. On the forum, we said we would be around a lot, then the sheriff asked if we meant a parking lot or a vacant lot. Guess when RalFy and Snowy aren't acting up, the sheriff gets bored!

We tried to post a link to Rissa Roo's photo album. It didn't work. Later in the week, we will contact Rissa and see how every cat can get to her album. For now, the best way would be for Rissa to email all cats with the invite. Our morning email might be bit late tomorrow.

We have a good fireworks story to tell everycat. We want to make sure mom is fully awake and coffeed before we let her type it for us. She's been making too many errors lately. We can't trust her until she has her coffee.

Well, Chita supplied dinner so we are going to lean over the litter box now. Sleep well, fur friends, and dream that all cats, dogs, and humans stay sane and have a safe holiday.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

Morning, July 3, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony's day report: It's Tuesday, July 3, 2001. It is QUIZ DAY. This should be a fun day. We have a question. It's not a quiz question. We are just curious. This morning on the online forum, Casper said that his mom uses pictures of Caspy & Pumpy for 'puter wallpaper. Our mom does the same thing. We wonder how many MeowMail cats' humans do the same?

O.K. Now for a quiz. If mom goes to bed at 12:30am, she takes 10 minutes to fall asleep. We wake her at 3:00am, but she doesn't get out of bed. She takes 10 minutes to fall back to sleep. Then we wake her again at 4:00am, and she finally gets up. How much sleep did mom get??????

O.K. We are going back to Meowmail Town for a bit. We hope lots of cats come up with quizzes today.

Tommy and Kato

Evening, July 2, 2001

Hi, fur friends. It's been a long day, so we had to leave MeowMail Town early. We are going to watch a sappy movie with mom. She will most likely fall asleep watching it. We are all so tired!

We have some special things to do in our email tonight. One is, we should all clap our paws real loud for Penny & Purrcy's mom. Their mom has helped them get not only a photo album for MeowMail, but also party supplies. Thank you, P&P's mom.

We also want to welcome Chub Chub, Tink and Izzy to our MeowMail email list. Today was picture day at the online forum, and we posted a picture of Chita and Nala. Well, you know our Reverand Kitkat? He said Chita has big ears!!!! Hahahahaha. He is clergy so, if he said it, it must be true. We don't know what this means, but Chita today said she is contagious. She's not sick or anything. She's just contagious. Please be careful around her.

RalFy has planned a 4th of July BBQ at MeowMail Town. Cats can come and go all day. As we said before, Penny has all the supplies ready. She had a nice pie for dessert, but we took it and will pay her back, hehehehehe. We are holding onto the LKCCs cleaning deposit for the 4th party. After that party, we will return their 98 mousies. Since we can't be trusted with the 97 mousies, Helen Waite is holding them. So when the LKCC wants the 96 mousies back, they should go there. All 95 mousies will be safe.

Good night, fur friends, and dream that whatever Chita has doesn't spread!!!

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

P.S. Snowy is also hosting the 4th party. She just doesn't know it yet!

Evening, July 1, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

It's been a long weekend at MeowMail Town. Today our Red Sox beat the Canadian Blue Birds. We felt a little bad, because today was Canada Day. We wanted our Canadian cat friends to be happy. We felt even worse watching the game. Slow and boring. If our mom enjoys watching the games so much, how come she reads while watching them?

Tony & Family posted pictures today. We saw them and liked them all. That Frankie kitten is the cutest!!!

Sabrina broke up with Snookums, but took him back later. As soon as she posted the public dumping of Snooks, there was Mac & Guy throwing their hats into the ring. Well, sorry, M & G, but she took Snookie back.

Some new members came by MeowMail Town today. They are Bailey Boo & Beanie Bear. We call them members instead of cats because they are dogs. They are dogs who love cats, so they are welcome. From the way they described themselves, they sound like STOMP DOGS. You know, the little tiny ones. We are probably bigger than they are.

We are real tired here and must get on the couch for mom's snack time. It will be ice cream tonight. Good night, sleep well, and dream that the new dogs at MeowMail don't grow any bigger!!!!

Tommy and Kato

Morning, July 1, 2001

Good morning, fur friends.

Today is July 1st. It's Canada day, and guess what? The Red Sox are playing the Canadian Blue Birds today. Hehehehe. We don't know who to root for. Of course we want the Sox to win, but we also would like the Canadians to have a great day! Today is their day, the 4th is ours.

Guess what else? The Left Koast Catz Club cleaned up after themselves. Oh, no! Now they want their deposit back. But we already ate some of the mousies. We are on punishment for the rest of the weekend, so mom won't help us repay the deposit. Waaaaaaaaa. Any eastie cats got any mousies to pitch in?

Last night, mom shut down everything 'puter related because of bad storms. This morning, it took forever to get the 'puter stuff back up. That's why we are so late. Mom took us out for our little walk, and now she wants to go get the newspaper. We will be around MeowMail Town today, but again are expecting bad storms. Hope to see every cat.

Special Edition for Friday, June 29, 2001

Dear All Cats,

The following is an open letter to scientists all over the world.

Dear Scientists,

Recently, we saw an article in one of mom's magazines. It surprised us so much that, like El Puma, our whiskers were twitching. In the article, they refer to us as pets and humans as pet owners. We will use those terms here to avoid confusion. Once we take over the world, the terms will change.

The article was about how pets might have ESP or some special sense, because we can tell when our humans are headed home from elsewhere. There were many humans involved in the study, scientist, pet experts, and pet owners. Fido is an example they used. Fido's humans always come home at 6:00pm. They secretly videotaped Fido and, sure enough, at 5:45pm Fido went over and stood by the door waiting for the humans.  All the humans agreed that Fido did this out of habit. For an experiment, they had Fido's humans come and go at all different times. About 15 minutes before the humans got to their home, Fido would get up and go stand by the door. The pet experts decided to try it with cats.

Sure enough, 15 minutes before the humans came home, all cats got up and went to the door. Because cats aren't dumb like dogs are, the cats didn't stand by the door, they lay by the door and napped until the humans got home. We don't want to spoil their jobs, but why didn't the scientists and pet experts just ask a cat how we know our human is headed home?

We have the answer: HUMANS STINK!  Plain and simple. That's it. Every human has their own distinct stink. We can smell our human a mile away. As the stench gets closer and stronger, we know she is headed home. Don't worry, scientists, we even did a little experiment. Our human sometimes walks by our home and doesn't come in. Yes, we knew she was coming as her smell got closer. When she walked by and away from here, the smell went with her. We cats might have ESP, but that's not how we know the human is headed home. Nope. For that we use, something much simpler than superpowers. We use our noses.

Thank you for your time,
Tommy and Kato

Evening, June 27, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

Yes, we are saying goodnight early tonight. Mom is making us get off the 'puter. She says to get ready for bed, but we think she just wants to go out and see the planet Mars. It's suppose to be visable tonight after sundown.

Today was another great MeowMail day. Buster's vet visit went well. He is a good weight and healthy. He does have a licking problem but hasn't caused any sores, so the vet said let it go for now.

The Meowmail Mayor, Silk, came by to say hello. We missed him. RalFy is busy planning the Saturday night Left Koast Cats Club dance. He is planning to have it at 4pm, his time, which will be 7pm for eastie cats. But, he needs to check with his dance partner Snowy who is in a whole different time zone. Wow, planning a party can be a lot of work. We have the LKCC's cleaning deposit. If we need to clean up after them, any cat who helps will get a share of the mousies left for deposit. We don't think there will be a mess though. We plan on trying to be there. RalFy and Snowy are like the Fred Astaire & Ginger Rodgers of meowmail. We want in on the fun.

Kitkat and Sabrina are trying to figure out how to get to their humans wind chimes. We gave them an idea and got accused of trying to get them in trouble. No good deed goes unpunished.

Tonight's dinner was BBQ chicken. We shared with the sheriff and his family. Mac & Guy enjoyed it so much, they were still licking their paws when they were saying goonight. It's good though cause their mom had pretzles & Soda for her dinner. They didn't want any of that. We gave Tony a kitty bag to take because she had to leave for bed. We hope she doesn't get BBQ sauce all over her bed.

Well, soon, the sun will be down and Mom will be able to see Mars.

Since Sheriff and Nala were married, we haven't seen hide nor fur of Nala. What happened to her????? Does anycat know? Goodnight, and dream that Nala is safe and sound. We all know the Sheriff had been acting strange lately.

Tommy and Kato

Morning, June 23, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Except, of course, on the west coast and Hawaii, it's the middle of the night!

Tony says it's National Fink Day. Mom said she thinks a Fink is some cat who tattles on others. That would be Chita, for sure. Seems Chita is very jealous that our governor sent us a card but didn't send her one. She said she is telling. State offices are closed for the weekend, but Monday morning, we will notify the governor and her staff about Chita. We will just let them know to expect a ranting, lying, jealous cat!!!!

Mom has cleaning to do today, but not like at Tony's home. Tony's human has decided today is the day Frankie the kitten will be put into general population. Oh, the fur might fly, but we think Tony and crew have warmed up to kitten Frankie. How could they not? She is so cute!

Angel's humans will be doing computer maintenance today. We know, when mom does ours, it takes awhile. So Angel, Gabe, and Freckles might not be around MeowMail town much.

We plan on being around town off and on today, but the weather guy said we could have T-storms at some point. You know the drill. If we get the storm, mom shuts down the 'puter.

We asked Joey how his sister is doing, so we are hoping maybe Joey will post a photo or two of Baby Girl.

We are going to head back to MeowMail Town for a bit. When we left to send our mail, Casper and Pumpkin had just posted a picture of the C & P dolls they are giving us. We must hurry back before Chita gets there. She likes to steal all the C & P dolls. See you around town.

Tommy and Kato

Hi, fur friends.

Here's the URL is for Angel and Gabe's photo album: http://www.cartogra.com/home/ViewMyAlbum.asp?coll_id=879568
They have invited every cat to veiw it. They said they will be adding more photos this weekend.

Hey, we finally caught up with Turd. Her mom gets very busy in the summer, which is why she hasn't been around much. That was a relief. We thought something might be wrong in the Turd home. You know how those cats love to party!

Guess who came by today, for real? Arnold. Yes, it really was Arnold. Danny is o.k. Joey and every cat were so glad to see Arnold and Danny.

The Anderson cats look like they are back to stay. They came by again tonight.

Also, we got a card from the govenor of our state. It was addressed to us. Not to our mom, but to us! Some cats asked if the governor knows we are cats. We cannot answer on the grounds in might incriminate us!

The biggest news has to be about Scooter the Brave Hunter! Joey brought a REAL mouse in the house. Scooter took it, and growled, and did all the things real cats do with a mouse. Way to go, Scooter!!!!

Hey, you know how Ralphie wins all the ribbons at his cat shows. Well, today, Ralphie's mom won a ribbon!!! No, not at a cat show. The ribbon was for a picture she drew. Ralphie said it's just a little yellow ribbon, not a big one, like the kind he wins. We could sense a little jealousy in Ralphie's tone when he said that.

Mom got new ice cream today, and we want some. We are going to join mom on the couch. Goodnight, fur friends, and dream that the Left Coast Cats calm down and just accept the fact they are behind all other cats.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

Morning, June 22, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. We got up late today, something about nice fresh air making us sleep longer. Either that, or we are just plain lazy today.

Tony said today is , Take Your Dog To Work Day and Zeppelin Day. Cats seem to think it means the music group Zeppelin. Mom already spoiled our fun by telling us it means the thing in the air. Except for seeing eye and other working dogs, why would anyone take their dog to work???? Dogs smell, and they are lazy. Hey, wait. We are lazy. Does that mean we are part dog? Oh No!

At the forum, we got to see some really cute pictures of Frankie. Tony better be careful! That kitten is sooooo cute that soon the humans might start saying "Who's Tony?" Just kidding, Tony. You are a beautiful orange girl. You have Joey going head-over-paws about you. We like to see your picture, but mom has warned us about staring at photos of girl cats. After the Babe incident, mom keeps a close eye on the photos we see.

We will be around the forum today. Mom is going to get some grapes, then will be home. Tonight, we will be at MeowMail Town while mom watches the Red Sox beat up those Blue Jays. Hehehee. See you at MeowMail Town.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

Evening, June 21, 2001

Hi, fur friends.

How are you all? Mom said we should get used to cats not liking us. She said after the Red Sox clip the Blue Jays' wings and send them home crying, maybe the Canadian cats aren't going to like us. Oh, well. Can't win em all, unless you're the Red Sox playing the Blue Jays. Mom says sweep.

Enough about baseball! Mom went out and took THAT D-O-G to the pond to play ball. She came home stinking like D-O-G. Then we asked her to take us out, but she said she was too tired. WHAT????

Seems there were other dogs there, and sometimes, they didn't bring the ball back so the humans had to go get it. Mom said there was one dog there, a Golden Retriever, who was very funny. Mom would throw the ball, and the dog would chase it and come back with a STICK!!! That dog's mother said it does that all the time. Why do humans think dogs chasing balls is fun? Sounds kind of like a stupid thing to do. We know if a human kept throwing our toys, we would stop giving them to the humans so we wouldn't have to chase them. D-O-G-S aren't
very smart, are they?

Well, we gotta head to the couch, so sleep well, fur friends and dream that the Blue Jays forgives us for having a winning baseball team.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

P.S. A very happy birthday to Rissa Roo!

Morning, Thursday, June 21, 2001

Good morning, fur friends. Tony says it's Aimless Wandering Day! That sounds like fun. Too bad mom wouldn't just let us go out on our own then we could wander the streets aimlessly. No, doesn't look like that's going to happen. Even if mom does take us out, it's just in the back yard and she follows us around. This morning, we won't get to go out at all. Mom is leaving early. Says she has things to do. From what we read on the forum this morning, all humans claim to have things to do. We just hope they are all done by later today. Then all us cats can go to MeowMail. We hope to see you later when mom gets back. Until then, be good and have fun wandering.

Evening, Wednesday, June 20, 2001

Hi, fur friends. How is every cat? We had the storm tonight so we weren't at MeowMail Town a lot. We need to correct something. We told you how now Scooters name is Scooter the Brave! Scooter has let us know that, yes, that's his new name but he is really still a fraidy cat, hiding in the basement. O.K. Guess we were just hoping, but like Scooter says you don't change from being a fraidy cat overnight, it takes time. Things worked out o.k. but earlier Snowy and El Puma were ready to rumble, with each other. But like cats, they worked out their differences and are now good friends. Too bad humans couldn't be like that. When mom said it was time to send this mail and get ready for bed Joey was showing cats who are up for adoption. They are some great looking cats , we only could stay long enough to see 3 of them. Angel got an email from the site were they have been making their movie. The site acknowledged the problem is with them and they are working to fix the problem. Good news, we guess that means we will sometime get to see the movie. Hold on to your tickets until the movie is ready. Rascle and Shadow came by today. They also have a new email address it's dafrenzyfelines@meowmail.com if you care to drop them a line. They were worried about being gone for so long but Ralphie told them how MeowMail cats are bonded for life. Once a MeowMail cat always a MeowMail cat. Knowing that we will sleep well. Goodnight fur friends, and dream that lots of good humans adopt some of the many cats waiting for homes.

Special Edition for Wednesday, June 20, 2001

Hi, fur friends. Mom has been doing the maintenance stuff on our puter. She looks around for things and found something at the MeowMail email we have. It seems when we delete old mail it goes to trash. We checked the folders (the list is on the left). All mail we have sent, or deleted, has been saved in folders. Right now, we are emptying trash of 212 messages. Afterwards, we will check options to see. Some emails have an option to empty trash when you leave the site. If you weren't aware of this folder thing (we weren't), go there and CLEAN. Okay?

Pals,
Tommy and Kato

P.S. There are also messages in the sent folder we have to get rid of. Just check the folders.

Morning, Wednesday, June 20, 2001

Good morning, fur friends! We had some trouble getting into the forum this morning. When we finally got in cats had already left. But we saw Tony's post. Tony said today is New Identity Day. Wow. Tony said she wants her identity to be a D-O-G! She doesn't like the new kitten and wants to scare it away. We think, today, we want to be dry cleaners. Yep, mom said that's what we are when we take our baths. Cats can wash without having water pouring all over them, like dry cleaners do to cloths. So we are dry cleaners. Tony wonders what identity other cats will pick.

Scooter has a new identity, but it's not just for today, it's for ever. Scooter will now be known as Scooter the Brave. No more fraidy cat stuff. Scooter also can be called Scooter the Skateboard.

Today is the day mom takes care of all the things she forgot to do Monday and Tuesday. We will be around off and on today. Hope to see some cats.

Hi, fur friends.

We already sent our goodnight email but it ALL was returned. We are using mom's puter while ours defrags. That might be the problem. So we are now just going to say a quick goodnight in case it all comes back again. Good night and dream about new hiding places. We gave all of ours away today.

Hi, fur friends. It's been a great MeowMail day. And, to end it, we got to see Joeyboy, and Zazu, and even the Whodas came back for a bit. Now mom says we have to get off the puter. Waaaaaaaaa.

Did everycat get to see the article about MeowMail? Maybe some new cats will come by. We hope they bring lots of popcorn because we are all waiting for Angel's movie to be released. Angel said tickets for the movie that didn't play are good for the new movie. We wanted front row seats, but Snowy seems to think she is entitled to them. Whatever cat gets to see the movie first, please don't give away the ending. Mom said we can check back later for the movie, but now we are going to rest. Sleep well, fur friends, and dream of new hiding places, because all cats gave theirs away tonight. You know, once we go to sleep, the humans will get on the puters and read our stuff.

Hi, fur friends.

http://www.bostonherald.com/lifestyle/lifestyle_trends/net06192001.htm

The above URL will take you to a newspaper article about MeowMail. It's written by a cat, so it's safe to read. Ember, the cat, put her email address at the bottom of the article. Later, we plan on emailing her to tell her how much we enjoyed reading about MeowMail. Maybe she will want to be on our email list.

Tony said today is World Sauntering Day. She wasn't sure what sauntering is, but we think it's just taking your time ladeedadeeda to get where you are going.

Unless you are Guy headed for the litter box. Seems whatever was ailing Guy is now on it's way out of him, if you know what we mean. There is a scary photo of Pumpkin on the forum. We were very scared and ready to run, and then we remembered it was just Pumpkin. He claims his mom woke him up to take the picture so he is cranky. CRANKY??? Gosh, if he had a chain saw . . . oh never mind. Today, we will be around a lot. Most of what mom has to do is right here at home. She has to make an important phone call and keeps putting it off. It's been about a week now. Maybe today she will make the call. Right now she can't make the call, because we are going to MeowMail Town and see what's going on. See you in town.

Hi, fur friends. How are you all tonight? We all need to purr real hard for Guy (of Mac & Guy). Seems he hasn't been eating well and has even lost some weight. His family is keeping an eye on him, and if he doesn't perk up, he will have a V-E-T visit. Let's just hope it's just him pouting because his folks were late getting home. Earlier today, El Puma posted a link. It was a map of a REAL country named CHITA. How strange. Now we want our own country, as will all cats, once they find out about the country of CHITA.

A friend of mom's brought us lots of treats tonight. One of the things was that catnip-scented paper. The directions said, wad it up and throw it near kitty. Mom threw us each a piece so, of course, we wrestled over the same piece. It's o.k. but not quite the real thing.

Speaking of catnip, what's with the sheriff??? Tonight he was talking about chasing cat fairies in a wind tunnel. Hmmmmmmmm. He claims to be of sound mind, but we should all keep an extra eye on John Wayne. He has a relative who has access to an evidence room that might contain catnip. The sheriff said you can't get in there without a badge. Sheriffs have badges!!! We waited in line, but still haven't gotten to see Angel's movie. The file might be too big, so maybe Angel will rework it. But he did leave a link on the forum to his photo album, we are going to visit it later. Mom's friend also brought her some human treats, so now mom wants to check out her treats and head to the couch for TV time. We will join her. Good night, fur friends, sleep well, and dream that Guy is just in a mood and will be fine tomorrow.

Good morning, fur friends. Tony said it's Trouser Day and International Picnic Day. Sounds good. Guess a human should wear trousers if they are going to a picnic. Something like that. Around here, maybe today can be no A.C. day. It's cool out now so mom shut the A.C. off. She said it's even a bit chilly. There is also a nice breeze, a purrfect day weather wise. Mom claims she has things to do today. That means we won't get to go out until later. Guess it's O.K. Having the windows open instead of closed for the A.C. is almost like being out. We are going to check out the forum for a bit now and see what's going on there. Maybe we will send some afternoon email because we aren't even awake yet.

Oh, fur friends, we didn't want to leave MeowMail Town but mom said we have to. It is late, and she needs to eat. We saw a lot of cats today and are very happy. Even cousin Snowy was at MeowMail Town. Mom claims she has lots to do tomorrow and wants to say good night now. We will be by first thing in the morning to see Tony and all the morning cats. Until then, sleep well, fur friends, and please dream that all dads had a great day. Also a special wish for Snowy and family to get over the bug invading their space.

Good night, fur friends.

Good morning, fur friends.

Tony said it's Fathers Day and included a story about his own father cat. Tony also said she will be back this afternoon and is hoping there are cats around. Tony's mom needs help deciding what to do with the kitten. We know we will be around. It's suppose to rain here this afternoon. The Dead, er, um, we mean Red Sox game starts at one, so mom will be home. We are hoping we get to go out for a bit this morning, but mom's eyes aren't even open yet. She needs her coffee, then she has to get dressed and washed. By then, the rain might start. Oh sure, when it rains, mom offers to take us out, and she thinks it's quite amusing when we decline. We are going to see what's up at the forum, then mom will wake up and get things done. See you around today.

Your pals,
Tommy and Kato

P.S. We are expecting only rain, but mom said if there's an electrical storm, the puter goes off. Also, a power outage could happen. Let's hope not.

Wow. Hi, fur friends. It's late! Mom let us stay at MeowMail Town for a long time tonight. We had fun. Dinner was mouse burgers. We still haven't had any dessert because we are still so full of mouse meat. Lots of cats came by tonight, which was great. We like to see lots of cats. Tomorrow is suppose to rain around here, so we are hoping to be around MeowMail a lot. Everycat remember, tomorrow is Father's Day. For you cats who have daddies,-you don't want them to miss a minute of their special day, so be sure to wake them up extra early. Oh, they might tell you they want to sleep late, but you know how dads are! Be sure to get them up, o.k.? We are falling asleep typing, so goodnight, fur friends, and dream that all cats' dads have a great day tomorrow. Kitkat said there will be a special service for the day.

Good morning, fur friends! Tony said it's WISH FULFILLMENT DAY! Wow. We know everycat must have some wish. Maybe throughout the day, cats could post their wishes. Who knows, maybe it would help them come true. We got mom up early today, but then we all went back to bed for awhile. We had to. You want to know why? RED SOX! Yes, they did win, but not until late last night. There was even a rain delay in the game. Total game time according to the time keepers: 4 hours!!!! They won in the 10th inning, and it was very exciting. But mom had to wait through the whole game to see the exciting part. So today we are all dragging our selves around, half asleep. Is it worth it? Well, we think mom or any human who would sit through a game like that is NUTS and needs Dr. Ralphie's help. Even people who were at the game, who paid to be there, who saw the action (or lack of) first hand, LEFT early. But mom? NO. She watched the whole dog darn game. Geeze, too bad it was dark out last night, or mom could have gone outside and watched the grass grow. That would have been as much fun and no commercials!!!! Anyway, that's why we are getting a late start on the day. We are going to check the forum for a bit, then mom has a few things to do. We hope MeowMail Town is hopping tonight cause we will be there. See you then.

Tommy and Kato

Hi, fur friends. What a day! Scotty's birthday and we didn't even get to see him. He is a year old now, and already Tony has him engaged to a girl cat! Tonight, mom is insisting on watching one of the more boring baseball games we have ever seen. We are spending our time chasing each other. It's the 7th inning stretch now, so should we stretch? Okay. S-T-R-E-T-C-H. Alright, is the game over yet? There was fish and chips to be had tonight, and then we had sherbet. Chita finally gave El Puma the promised mousies, so things seem to be o.k. now. Joeyboy came by the forum, seemed upset, then left. Then mom made us leave to watch the game with her. *YAWN*. Guess we will head to bed now. Goodnight fur friends, sleep well and dream that everycat is or gets happy.

Good morning, fur friends!

Tony said it's Fly a Kite Day!!! We were only at the Forum to check what day Tony said it is. Seems a lot was happening there, so we're gonna run right back there now. See you today.

Hi, fur friends.

What a great MeowMail night! The sheriff, John Wayne, eventually showed up. But, until he did, TAZ was the acting sheriff. Taz did a great job! There was no trouble.

Dinner was leftovers, and of course our mom doesn't know how to eat right, so now has an upset stomach. That means we will all lay on the couch until she feels better. Then we
